Ahalia Foundation Eye Hospital, Muvattupuzha.

The security was not helpfull to us when we reached at the hospital to park our car. He wasn't polite when he was talking to us. This is not good for a famous eye hospital group in kerala.Very upset about the security service.

All statt are dedicated and provided good quality of care, when I went there. Hopefully they will continue the same in their future too. Best wishes all.

My mother recently had Cataract Surgery at Ahalia Muvattupuzha with Dr Renny Zachariah. The doctor was so skilful, soft spoken and kind. Mother didn't even feel any pain or discomfort during the Surgery. The Staffs including nurses, reception and Mr Christy was very helpful. No confusions or abnormal high waiting anywhere. The process prior to Sugery and during Surgery were very good. We highly recommend this place and doctor for anyone planning to do Cataract Surgery. For my mother's other Surgery, we went to a big "Foundation" hospital at Kochi. Not only mother could see blood dripping in eyes, entire process was very stressful and expensive. However here, the Bill is so much affordable compared to Kochi. Thankyou Ahalia, Dr Renny and team for the kindness. May you have much more success in future. 👍

Quality of care is more than other eye hospitals. Staff are more approachable in all departments.

Very poor patient management system. It’s taking hours to consult a doctor. Long pause between patent consultations.

Today, September 24, 2024, we attended the scheduled check-up at Muvattupuzha branch at 9:00 AM, as previously arranged. However, upon arrival, we were subjected to an unacceptable delay of 30 minutes before receiving eye medication, followed by repeated instructions to wait. This inefficient process was repeated four times, culminating in an additional hour-long wait. Regrettably, the technician displayed a startling lack of knowledge regarding the required procedures, limiting the examination to a standard eye power test for prescribing new optics. Only after we brought the details of our previous visit to their attention did they arrange a meeting with the doctor. Shockingly, the staff seemed to have no access to our previous consultation records, or chose to disregard them altogether. This appalling experience not only wasted our valuable time but also disrupted our pre-arranged schedule. In light of this disappointing encounter, we are compelled to reconsider our decision to seek future consultations at Ahalya.

Worst experience I have ever had. The staff are not professional and they don’t even know how to behave politely. I waited more than 2 hours due to poor patient management from staff side. I went for eye power checking and doctor suggested one eye drops and wait for 30 mins. A nurse put eye drops. After that nobody was there to monitor. I waited 2 hours. I was really disappointed.
