We are also incredibly grateful to the team of doctors who always visited us with a cheerful smile and so much patience. The nursing staff showed great care and kindness during every step of the treatment. Their dedication and approach meant a lot to us. Our son was extremely happy, relaxed and comfartable during the treatment here and we felt completely satisfied and truly grateful. I have been struggling from frequent redness and pain in my eyes for the last few years. Many treatments were taken in famous eye hospitals before and the problem never got solved. I have then decided to take ayurvedic treatment after getting some strong referrals to Matha eye hospital in Trivandrum. Dr Shantakumari madam is very patient while listening to the problems and then did a thorough assessment before suggesting the treatment. I have taken 16 days treatment here with various procedures involved and I am quite happy with the result so far. My redness and pain in eyes have completely gone for now and I am hoping and pretty much sure aswell that the problem is not going to come back after few days or weeks. I will share more details on the result after a month or two. It would be very unfair if I don’t mention some other great things I have seen here in this hospital as below: 1. You never feel you are in a hospital during your stay here as the atmosphere here is just like a home. 2. ⁠Drs Athira, Heera , Remya , Syna are all very caring and they make you feel very comfortable during the assessment and treatment time. Dr will explain to us regarding every day procedures upfront and hence you can be prepared for the treatment 3. ⁠Therapists Mr Mahesh, Rahul and Vishnu( there are many more - apologies but I have interacted with only these gentlemen) are very professional at their work, friendly and knows very well what they are doing. 4. Food served is as per medication diet advice and it’s quite healthy food. Thanks to those Chechis who are serving food during my stay ( sorry - couldn’t remember their names) 5. ⁠overall very positive atmosphere and energy around From my experience so far, I recommend this hospital for eye related consultation and treatment.

We had a 17-day treatment at Matha Ayurvedic Eye Hospital for our 10-year-old child, who was admitted for myopia. We could see noticeable improvements during the course of the treatment. Dr. Athira was very caring and attentive throughout. We're also thankful to Dr. Santhakumari (Chief Physician), Dr. Heera, and Dr. Sayana for their guidance and support. The supporting staff were friendly and made us feel comfortable during the entire stay. The treatment process was smooth, and the diet food was very nice and suited the therapy. Overall, a good experience — we truly appreciate the care provided.

Four eye before i operated my right eye for nerve problem. After my operation eyes are very good. Last 6 months i had problem of continuous water dropping in my right eye. I visit matha hospital. Take 14 days treatment now it is cleared. In this hospital all doctors and other employees are very good to speak and take care. I like every day pray and housekeeping and doctors take care.

I came here a week back for eye pressure related issues. So far I am very happy with the treatment, the great ambience, wonderful staff who make you feel at home. Every morning we start the day with a prayer where the inmates and staff assemble in the hall. The diet is strictly vegetarian with optional egg. Mid day juice is given and evening tea with traditional snacks. Food is non spicy and with less salt. I must say the Doctors under the guidance of Dr.Santhakumari are well trained and experts in eye care. They take real good effort in making sure the patient gets the utmost care and comfort. The support staff are also very pleasant, helpful and hard working. The therapists are the ones who do the treatment and they do amazing job through the day to ensure they complete their routine in the specific time. Rooms are nest and well maintained with AC options. Overall a great place to get the treatment done and best part they also take our feedback daily which will help to improve continuously. Very well maintained place and excellent ayurvedic treatment centre.

I noticed blurred vision and floaters 4 years back. It was diagnosed as macular degeneration and took treatment for it from other hospital and got no improvement . Then I came to matha ayurveda and took treatment from here. After 7 days of treatment I find some changes. Floaters size and number have reduced. Hypersensitivity issues has also reduced. My vision clarity improved to an extent. The doctors and other staffs treated me very well and are very friendly.Food is decent. Overall very good hospital for eye treatment

I visited Matha for treatment of short sight, sensitivity to bright light and blurred vision. I used to wear spectacles for myopia + astigmatism. After first treatment session at tholicode branch , my vision improved so much that I stopped using spectacles. The second time I took treatment at the kudappanakunnu branch because of its nearness to home. The tholicode branch offers a resort sort of ambience, where as kudappanakunnu branch give a homely feel. My vision has improved so much and the other problems have nearly vanished. Iam so grateful for the doctors and therapists of this institution for their efforts to take care of a patient. The care I received was beyond my expectations. The cleanliness and hygiene maintained here is good. I always recommend this hospital to anyone who come across me and if l find they suffer from impaired vision.I wish that the Matha Ayurveda hospital continues to provide their services to the needy for many years to come.I pray to almighty that this hospital spreads its wings worldwide and let the world learn about the magic of Ayurveda and Shalakya.

I'm Thanumoorthy from Kanyakumari. I had glaucoma and diabetic retinopathy.I had blurred vision in left eye and done laser both in right eye and left eye. After laser the vision in left eye is completely lost. Also I suffered from heaviness and pain in left eye. Then I came to matha ayurveda hospital. The treatment and patient care they provide is very good.Now I feel better with my vision status and also the issues like light sensitivity pain and heaviness had gone. I'm better now because of their treatment. Every person in this hospital is friendly.I suggest this hospital to anybody who have eye related problems .
