The first high- tech specialty eye hospital in tirur. It's a vary well maintained and disciplined place .... Staffs are very welcoming as well. Optical shop doesn't have much selection for eyewear..... That can be improved. Other than that. Pretty decent place.

Nice eye hospital Calm atmosphere

They will make you wait a long time. Because all the students at the institute will make use of a patient as a subject for them to study. Even a simple test may long for more than three quarters of an hour. The doctors are not that expert. Better options in tirur are dr. Govinda babu or dr. Ruby.

While the Doctors are quite experienced and good, the Optometrists are bit inexperienced.. Though they are doing the test in proper way, the deductions from eye tests may not be accurate.. Like in my case, they pre deduced that since am 40, I would be suffering from long-sightedness and really needed reading lenses, while I visited them saying I have issues only with short-sightedness, but they said my short-sightedness vison is OK. They deduced this by saying I can read the last line - Of course I can read the last line since they showed me that line over and over again - I memorized it after a while of reading! Their deductions from tests where not so accurate - rather I wasn't satisfied. The lens order was placed. But since I wasn't satisfied, and the lens was expensive as well, I insisted that I don't think the tests were correct, they send a senior optometrist who was patient enough to listen and prescribe the right lens. The Optical store (Dilshan) was quite helpful in taking adequate action to get the lens prescription corrected ASAP (with Crizal). In Optical store, they told that Crizal Sapphire 360 UV is best for computer usage. But after some research I now realize that, Crizal prevencia was the one I should have bought and not Sapphire 360 UV (for computer usage) - since Prevencia is the one that has blue light filtering; But this wasn't explained to me - They just said that Crizal Sapphire 360 UV does blue light filtering (and is good for computer usage). I should have done the research prior to placing the order - Please do your due diligence before placing order from this optical store! Plus they have less (frame) options here. One more recommendation would - The doctor need to reverify the prescription that was prescribed by the optometrists, by putting those test lens; To confirm if the prescription was really right or wrong (as they have wider overview of things with respect to Eye)

My grandmother cataract surgery done from rayhan. Surgery cost is very affordable and after cataract surgery vision is Improving to normal. Really happy with rayhan eye hospital tirur.

Customer services and patients care is really good. staffs and doctors attitude towards the patients very comfort.
