I recently had an appointment for my mother with Thorat eye care and I feel compelled to share my experience. Unfortunately, it was far from positive. From the moment I walked into the office, I sensed an unwelcoming atmosphere. The staff was polite, but Dr. himself was anything but. When I attempted to ask questions about her condition, I was met with a dismissive attitude. Instead of providing clarity, he barked at me, making me feel belittled for seeking information. It was disheartening to see a medical professional, someone who is supposed to care for patients, respond in such a rude and condescending manner. I understand that doctors are busy, but that should never excuse a lack of basic courtesy and respect. I had hoped to leave the appointment feeling informed and reassured, but instead, I left feeling anxious and confused. It’s crucial for patients to feel comfortable discussing their health concerns, and Dr. Thorat’s demeanor made that impossible. I felt like I was being scolded for wanting to understand my treatment options rather than being guided through them. In a field where empathy and communication are vital, Dr fell short. I believe that a good doctor-patient relationship is built on trust and open dialogue, and my experience was the complete opposite. I would not recommend Dr thorat to anyone seeking a supportive and understanding healthcare provider. There are many doctors out there who prioritize patient care and communication.

I got my mother operated for Cataract before few years and till date we are very satisfied with the surgery. Now the new setup of clinic and Operation Theatre is world class.
