Apex eye hospital & retina centre

Yesterday i went to Apex hospital for my father's eye checkup since there are only 2 retina specialist available in chandrapur. The lady sitting in the reception said that we have to pay 2500 rs first for retina checkup then only we can meet the doctor..its doctors order. We already had done retina checkup outside and had all the reports..and we would have done again the retina checkup in apex without any issue but atleast the doctor should have seen my father and his old reports then he should have asked us to do new retina checkup.Then it would have been okay for us. But the policy of apex hospita to first do the checkup then only you can meet the doctor is highly unprofessional . I am myself a Doctor working as a medical officer in Government hospital..i informed the receptionist about it and asked her let me talk to the Dr first then we will do all the check up he recommends but the lady refused even to let me talk to the Dr for 5 min also...saying its Dr's order. This is highy disappointing behaviour.I would never recommend anyone to visit here.
