I truly say one of the only best charitable eye hospital . I was operated by doctor sailie shirodkar . She completed my eye operation just in 15 minutes . Dr sailie shirodkar is very humble nature and soft spoken always make feel patient light by making patient smile. The eye operation done in Tara netralaya is very very cheap as compared to other private eye hospitals who loot poor patients. This hospital has done nearly more than 35,000 eye operations. Tara netralaya offers various types of eye lenses from rs 2,500 to rs 25,000 choice is yours. They only charge for the eye lens they do not charge other medical expenses like medicines and surgeon operation charges rather they reduce the charges for some rs 550 tests done. I am very very happy and rather feel God send me at such a nice Tara netralaya and of course the finest young beautiful main DOCTOR SAILIE SHIRODKAR.

Worst worst staff. They don’t know how to talk politely with anyone. It’s like they are paying us. This hospital needs good staff. Those who are taking treatments from this hospital kindly don’t tolerate the staff.

Tara Netralaya is located near Apna Ghar Phase 3, Mira road. It is run by Tara Sansthan Trust, Udaipur. People come here mostly to get their Eyes Tested & to get their Cataract Operation done, it is FREE for those who cannot Pay & for those who can, buy Indian Lenses which start from 3,000 Rs to 6000 Rs. Price of Imported Lenses start from around 9,500 Rs & above. Hardworking Dr Hitesh along with his team Operates around 20 Patients on a given date, Most of them are successful while rest depends upon the age, the Condition of the Eyes of the Patient. etc The Trust only Charges money for the Lenses & not the Operation. Pre-operation Tests are done in the Hospital at a nominal fee of Rs 500/-. On the 2nd Floor Testing is done while Operation is done at the 3rd Floor. It is generally very crowded and can be managed better with Proper System in Place.

There are wrong directions given in map, I will suggest to take first left from highway before Thakur mall signal for Penkarpada. This is one of the best eye clinic with free of cost. Clinic timing is 9am but people are already in queue from 8. So be early & take token to show reports. If you came to operation or to take after operation treatment, then no need stand in queue.

My mom's eye cataract was operated by Dr Sailee Shirodkar. She is very professional and highly qualified. The staff is also cooperative and pays attention to detail. We received all kind of assistance from the team hence whole process was smooth.
