Me and my wife have done cataract surgery of both eyes at Deepti Eye Care Centre. All eyes surgery was sucessful and now dont have to wear spectacles. Doctor Deepti is very experienced eye care specialist. I suggest that all persons staying specifically in Rawalpada, Dahisar East, Borivali East or any other area in Mumbai should visit her hospital for any eye problem. All eyes surgery expenses were passed by my mediclaim company with only few deductions.

Dr. Deepti is an excellent doctor and even the staff is every helpful and polite. Did my Uncle's cataract surgery and results are excellent, and I couldn't be more pleased with the results. The level of care, expertise, and compassion displayed by Dr. Deepti and their team was truly exceptional. My Uncle's vision has significantly improved, and the entire process, from consultation to post-op care, was seamless. I am are very happy with her diagnosis and treatment. Dr. Deepti Pimple-Pithwa is simply Par Excellence Ocuplasty, Orbit and Oncology Surgeon. Before I narrate my experience with her just a small brief, I am a Health and General Insurance agent with several Insurance companies and specialised in Health Insurance and have been through a few surgeries and my geographic area of functioning is from Andheri Lokhandwala right upto South Bombay and I have been treated / operated by some of the best and most-renowned Doctors. I had a problem with my right eye and lower eyelid since end May 2023 and was diagnosed with Edema-lower lid, Entropion lid inner canthus, Hypertrophyy lower lid which in lay person’s language meant there was a obstinate swelling in my right lower eye lid, my eyelashes had gone and growing inwards as well as a coupla cysts in the eyelid. So I was on the look out for a good surgeon on urgent basis and having a good health insurance policy getting the expenses reimbursed was a given thing. I got referred to 3 Surgeons by my treating Opthalmic surgeon and he said I could go and check them out and that they are all good. Dr Deepti Pithwa was in Dahisar East so besides the inconvenience of the distance from my residence there was a slight niggle in my mind about she being in Dahisar East, her age / experience and things like that, Bias is a strong word as if there was a bias I would have looked elsewhere but a niggle for sure. Upon meeting her I was upfront about my concerns and how her OT would be and about how many similar surgeries (of the entropion) she had done as this surgery involved surgically making a incision on the lower eyelid etc however I was completely assured about her experience and took her word for it that her Operation Theatre is as good as any I would find close to where I live. Me being a quick thinker helped and we fixed a date for the surgery. She did a thorough and a neat job with abundant skill and confidence to my complete satisfaction. Her OT was very good too and oh yeah while she is working on the OT table she’s a quick thinker too as for my surgery my nose and mouth had to be covered up and she did that I disclosed to her that when my nose is covered I get breathless due to clostrophobia and she said it won’t be a problem however I asserted my nostrils need to be open (it’s psychological) and she just cut open a space for my nostrils to be open, though she may have been perturbed by my assertion it didn’t reflect as her action indicates. Her staff administrative and nursing is quite efficient and she is approachable and easy to reach. I am completely satisfied with her surgical skills and overall end to end experience. Today it’s just 2 weeks since my surgery and I am likely to post a coupla pictures, the before and after pictures with the sole intent to share my experience with. She was worth every inch of the distance I had to commute!
