It was a great experience especially after initial consultation where cataract was diagnosed and given time of 3 months to have the surgery done. We traveled from abroad and had very good support from the entire staffs at institute and not only they are professional but make you feel at home. It was great to have come to Dr Kumar who patiently hear your issue and make you feel at ease.

I visited this eye clinic recently and, unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. The nurse who assisted us at the beginning was quite rude and unprofessional. We were made to wait for hours, and even after applying the eye drops, it took a long time for her to return without any updates or explanation. When we finally saw the main doctor, the consultation felt rushed. He didn’t take the time to clearly explain the issue or answer our questions properly. The entire appointment lasted barely five minutes, which felt inadequate for a proper eye checkup. Lastly, after leaving the doctor’s room, the reception staff did not prepare a proper file. They simply handed us a folded prescription paper without a cover or folder — very unorganized for a medical clinic. I hope they improve their service and professionalism in the future.

So grateful and thankful to Dr kumar and his team for my dad’s successful cataract procedure which was managed so professionally with expertise and care that made it a smooth sailing experience. The post operative checkups was also assuring. I Highly recommend👍

Visited for a cataract surgery, the tall lady at the reception had no manners to talk, was very rude, not just to us but others too, when patients visit they come from far away places and must be treated with respect and kindness, query solving with a smile on face only adds value. Next when I asked the coordinator about what type of lenses they have and overall approx cost, they dodged my query stating it will be given only after pre work up, she in her sugarcoated words said please go for a 1100 consultation and 9500 pre operation eye checkup so that they can guide us. Consultation is still understood but 9500 for a basic pre-eye checkup for cataract is too high compared to most other famous eye clinics. Also was told that cataract is very significant and need to be removed early, which wasn't the case by other few Doc's. Though the Doctor was polite but overall experience was not satisfactory. Too expensive

I had an excellent experience at the Doctor Eye Insitute. The staff was friendly and professional, and the environment was clean and welcoming. The doctors took the time to thoroughly explain my condition and treatment options, which made me feel comfortable and well-informed. My left eye vision was totally blank, I mean I was not able to see with my left eye. I had contacted 3 eye doctors, but the result was not good at all. Than I contacted Dr. Kumar eye institute, they after checking the eye, and with laser treatment and correct eye drops my vision improved. Now I my eye is almost cured. I sincerely recommend Dr. Kumar and Dr. Shivani for best result and their Excellent service.

I took my dad to Doctor Eye Institute for a consultation for cataract at the recommendation of a relative who had several family members get their eye related procedures done by Dr Kumar. This would serve as a second opinion after we had a consultation and check-up done at a clinic closer to our home. I have to say I'm glad we did because at Doctor Eye Institute they ran several more tests to account for my dad's diabetes and blood pressure conditions and to rule out any complications. Thankfully, there were none and we went ahead with laser assisted cataract surgery for both of my dad's eyes. The procedures for the two eyes were done a month apart by Dr Kumar himself. Dr Shivani also played a role and both doctors were very professional and thorough with pre and post surgery check-ups apart from the main procedures themselves both of which went very smoothly for my dad. We also got to watch both surgeries live on a screen in the waiting area. The staff are very polite and helpful. They are also efficient in processing the many patients they get daily. We were even offered free eye tests for 2 family members after every procedure done for my dad which we did avail. The staff conduct these tests and document them meticulously in your patient file. Speaking of facilities, the waiting area/lobby is spacious and air-conditioned and there is a coffee/tea machine which we can freely use. They also have a small pantry and can make sugar-free tea at your request. They have well-maintained male and female toilets. Parking was a concern for me prior to my first visit because I couldn't find any recent review commenting on the same. I'm happy to report that the Landmark building in which the institute is present does have a common basement parking for all shops and offices of the building. I have added some photos of the same. Even though it's just one floor of parking for the whole building I never had trouble finding a free spot regardless of the time we visited. Overall we are quite satisfied with the outcome of my dad's cataract surgeries and are happy with the services of the doctors and staff. I would heartily recommend Doctor Eye Institute to anyone!
