Superb experience at Sohum Eye care. My mom was super scared for her cataract surgery but Dr. Abhijeet Desai ensured that the surgery goes all fine. I must say he is one of the finest doctors I have met so far and his knowledge definitely talks volume of his work. Dr. Ashwini also ensured that the routine check ups go smooth for my mom considering she is elderly and had to travel for the appointments.The staff is extremely co operative and nice. A big thank you to Prathibha and Pranjal for being extremely prompt in getting things done and being so helpful. Definitely a recommend.

We had a good customer service at Sohum Eye Care, Borivali West. The support staff are courteous and the doctors are also very friendly. Mid-cataract surgery, they are unable to safely unpack the lens. They inform us that the surgery is completed but patient (75 yrs of age) will need to wait an hour for the remaining lens related procedure to be completed as they have ordered a replacement lens. The wait then turns into 2 hours. The waiting area is unhygienic and congested which is super risky for a patient to be in for 2 hours post surgery. When asked for updates, no clear answers were shared. Extremely unprofessional and mismanaged. Procedure was completed at 4.30 for a 1 pm slot (which should not take more than 30 mins). When asked why they don’t keep backups available, they did not have a good answer except they simply don’t. As a clinic in borivali, they sourced the required lens from dadar, hence the long wait. Much of this doesn’t make sense. Will update further as one more procedure to go. Second procedure went ok. The staff is mostly helpful and polite except the one that made me feel like my discomfort with the delay was unreasonable and like responding to our reasonable questions was a waste of her time. Also regarding the response below, sourcing the best quality lens is non-negotiable and we paid for it. My concern is with the way you have logistically set it up and the fact there there are no back-ups in place. I really do hope you have investigated this issue and no other patient irrespective of age has to go through the same experience again. There should be no room for errors like that in a medical facility.

I underwent a femto LASIK procedure at the Sohum Eyecare Centre by Dr. Abhijeet Desai. Everyone at the clinic, the optometrists, receptionists are highly competent and extremely kind and welcoming. I would like to thank Vruddhi ma'am (optometrist) for always being so helpful for my workup. Dr. Abhijeet sir and Dr. Ashwini maam made sure that I had a smooth experience and most importantly a clear eyesight! Thankyouuu :))

I have had an amazing experience with Sohum clinic. The staff is very welcoming and polite. Lovely people and they have given undivided attention to my mother and made sure that she was comfortable. I would highly recommend Sohum eye care clinic. Very professional staff. I would give them 1000 stars!

All good. Good and experienced Doctors. Am satisfied with the consultation. Just need to work on waiting period. Patients have to wait a long for their turn. Rest excellent.

Very Good Faculty. Very Good Reception Staff. Good Team work. Doctor Abhijit is professional and expert in his field. Cured my 87 year old father's vision without any inconvenience. Area of Improvement :- Approach towards clinic on wheel chair is inconvenient especially Lids of manholes are in pathway. Boys should be kept for old / Senior Citizen to take in and out of clinic on wheelchair or otherwise ; especially on the Slope. Rest all Very Good. 👍👍 Sachin

All staff is very helpful and gentle. Ophthalmologists are well trained and ever ready to answer any questions and explain the procedures before and after surgery carefully so that patient and the relative can understand .All the staff welcomes you with a beautiful smile which releases all the tension of the patient. Doctors are very humble ,approachable and experts in their work. It was a great experience here at Sohum . My heartfelt gratitude to all at Sohum.
