Madhav Netralaya - Eye Care Hospital, Nagpur

I don't understand why ratings are so low. People and family recommend me this hospital for TED eyes and other checks. Has an in house optician and eye related pharmacy if needed. Staff are lovely and caring. I paid little in comparison to thieving hospitals elsewhere. Waiting time was next to nothing and organisationbwas amazing. We had an amazing experience with this hospital and Dr. Aditya Deo is just amazing the way he spoke to us and explained about the surgery and surgery that he performed was very successful,by far for any Glaucoma related issues I will recommend Dr.Deo as per my personal experience.He was very polite to us,Thank You Dr. Deo. Also Administration part is very well managed. Thank You we needed someone. NOTE: At the day of surgery in pre operation room the basic procedures were performed by a Housekeeping staff which I feel is not acceptable.As what I understand every hospital has a nurse appointed for this task so ideally this job should be taken up by a qualified Nurse,here instead I found a nurse busy over a personal call throught the shift.

Hospital has good facility, maintains cleanliness and staff is helpful. Dr. Varada mam is brilliant when it comes to diagnosis and explaining the treatment. It does take time to do tests but then they clearly explain that while taking the appointment. It is definitely best eye hospital in nagpur.

Impolite staff. There is no coordination between their reception and eye testing rooms. While I asking regarding treatment to counselor and doctor they not give proper information regarding treatment when I ask the receptionist tells about patient she like very rudely . Their management is poor. They have built a posh hospital with poor staff. Half of the time Doctor's have meeting and we have to wait for hours. For blind patients this hospital is not at all helpful.

Our experience at Madhav Netralaya was very good. Hassle-free OPD system saved our time and we got good service and consultation. Thank you consultants, front desk and support staff.

Had a terrible experience with Madhav Netralaya, Nagpur. Despite having cashless approval for cataract surgery and submitting all required documents in advance, the hospital demanded additional payment on the day of surgery. When we refused and asked them to bill the insurance company directly, they denied admission and canceled the procedure. Even after intervention from the insurance company, they refused to cooperate. This caused mental harassment and wasted our entire day. What's the point of cashless insurance if hospitals don’t honor it? Beware of such unethical practices! They Collecting CSR from many companies, still they are collecting each service with higher rate from patients.

All staffs are so good they are very helpful and every procedure is easy to go. I came there many time for my routine checkup and they are so nice . Must go if you want any eye related concern .
