Doctor does not understand the basics. He have given wrong number for both eyes. He also could not do correct diagnosys of the eye injection. He only gives antibiotic and painkiller for every thing without understanding the reason medical issue. Please avoid visiting, there are many other better doctor in PCMC and Pune.

When you say you have insurance he will be very reluctant to answer your other questions because insurance has a package decided by insurance companies they have a limit set for cataract surgery and cash paying patients don't have such conditions. Think twice before consulting him. It's a waste of time and money if you visit here. Now what is the use in calling me and answering my questions the surgery is done for both eyes. I remember I had sent my insurance copy on your WhatsApp number to know if you will be able to get the cataract surgery covered under insurance. Also I had called your reception 10 times to know the status. Waste of time.

I had terrible pain and swelling in my right eye. Dr.Shibu Paulose suggested to see Dr.Sumit Wankhede ,as he doubted symptoms of herpes in the eye. I met Dr. Wankhede the same day. During My Last follow up he gave me, green signal. Finally I am free from my worries,my eye is okay now. I must mention here that Dr.Wankhede is peoples doctor.He takes utmost care in his all patients. He makes them very comfortable and yes he loves to answer, clear doubts of his patients.( please make a note of your questions, before coming to the clinic, as his time is very important also for other patients who are waiting for him). Diagnosis and treatment is very accurate. He avoids unnecessary treatment and tests. He explains very well.
