I used to go for my eye check-ups at Kathmandu Eye Center, and I must say it’s one of the best eye centers in Nepal. The service is professional, and the doctors are experienced and thorough. The consultation fee is slightly on the higher side—around NPR 900 for a routine check-up—but considering the quality of care and facilities, it’s worth it. Despite the cost, it’s a very good place for your regular eye examinations. Highly recommended for anyone looking for reliable eye care in Kathmandu.

We had an excellent experience at Kathmandu Eye Centre, which I highly recommend for cataract surgery. I did for my 86 year old mother & uncle 82 years old.The facility is well-equipped, and the quality of care is outstanding. The new place is clean well furnished with a lift which is so important for the elderly. Dr. Sagun Joshi, a specialist in cataract surgery, is highly skilled and experienced. So happy to know he is from St.Paul’s School Darjeeling & me from Loreto Convent.The procedure was smooth, and the results were remarkable. The centre uses high-quality lenses, ensuring clear vision post-surgery. The staff is professional, courteous, and attentive, making the entire process comfortable and stress-free. If you’re looking for the best place for cataract surgery in Kathmandu, this is it! Excellent service, expert doctors, and top-notch facilities.

Not a post about the centre but rather the honorary Dr Sagun Joshi. He's treated several members of my family in the past and even from others had heard nothing but great things about him. However, when he operated on my aunt in Teaching Hospital recently, she kept feeling pain even after the estinated time for there to be discomfort. After going for a follow up for the second time, he lost patience and talked very brazenly with my aunt. I understand you are a nationally renowned ophthalmologist but it seems all that fame has gone to your head. It turns out my aunt had a severed nerve BTW so try to relearn so.e sympathy so it won't happen again.

I have been the patient of Dr. sagun joshi for over 10 years and this time I am very dissatisfied with his service. I found increase in price by 350 for doctor visit and he has given just a minute for my treatment as my eye problem is not like normal peoples problem. I have been waiting for his guidance for long and yet turned with nothing in return. I request Dr, joshi to at least deal with patient psychology.

Kathmandu Eye Center provides top notch best service for patients dealing with eye issues. Their specialist team is quick to diagnose the exact issues and suggest best treatment possible. My mum's eye surgery was done here and I have been their client for years now. My doctor Apurva Tamrakar has provided me the eye health tips which had been very helpful. They have good amenities their service for me had been outstanding. The only issue sometimes is their street parking only which can be a trouble if you are on vehicle. Highly recommended!

Dr. Saurav Man Shrestha and his team have seen me and most of my family members over the last years. He has successfully treated my family’s cataracts, vitrectomies and a barrage laser. We highly recommend Dr. Shrestha and cannot praise him enough for his professionalism, genuine concern towards his patients, and his kind, approachable demeanor. Thank you Dr. Shrestha, Dr. Joshi and everyone at the clinic for all your hard work.

The service is nice.. I had the appointment for Saturday.. there were lots of patients and the wait was very long. Almost for like 4/5 hours..
