I felt compelled to write a review following my recent DCR surgery with Dr Kenneth Chan. I want to express a huge “thank you” for a job well done. Dr Chan did a great job in briefing me and made me feel very confident in the process. He was exceptionally professional, very friendly and relatable. I would highly recommend his services.

I had a terrible experience with Dr Kenneth Chan. I've been left with noticeable scaring and disfigured eyes after agreeing to what i was told would be simple surgery for watery eyes. On top of that the surgery didn't work so I'm back to square one. Think really hard before having this procedure by this person and get a second opinion from a plastic surgeon before proceeding. In reply to the post by Thorndon Eye Clinic I did reach out to as you know. I spent a considerable amount with this Clinic and now a plastic surgeon who has tried to make my eyes look a bit more normal. I'm not a wealthy person so, these costs have had a negative impact on me.

Highly recommend Steve Mackey, he has carried out a number of procedures on my eyes, always friendly, informative and very professional.

Absolutely professional and empathetic even when delivering bad news for my eyesight. This team is professional and clearly expert in what they do.

Been sitting in their waiting room for 30 mins now, time management is something this company cannot do. If time is important to you, suggest you try somewhere else.

Really disappointing that I had to twice chase up the initial consultation report (after initially contacting the referring optometrist when 2 months had passed). The report was eventually written up on the day of my second enquiry, 10 weeks after the consultation, with no apology or explanation. If I hadn't persisted, it still wouldn't be done.

The team is fantastic, from reception, scan technicians and ophthalmologists. The service levels are extremely high, the team is extremely patient, friendly, thorough and informative. I would highly recommend!
