Woodward Optical Ltd in Wellington is excellent. From the welcome everytime you go, (even if it is not for a year or so for this out-of-towner) to their excellent service done with such professionalism, and with a friendly smile. I went in while in Wellington to get sunglasses changed back from prescription glasses after eye surgery literally a few days ago, and today they arrived in Palmerston North. The team are extremely knowledgeable and patient when you are choosing frames and coloured lenses. I would not go anywhere else.

Great optometry practice with amazing team and great frame choices. The optometrist Fraser is excellent. The whole team there is friendly and helpful and obviously have a lot of fun at work and enjoy their roles. I picked up some Jimmy Choo prescription sunglasses and they're very good quality and comfortably adjusted. Thanks team 💖

My spectacles which consisted of an expensive frame and quality lenses were on the verge of being scrapped for want off a lost screw connecting the temple to the main frame, were saved by Woodward Optical Ltd who would not accept any payment for fixing them although it took them about twenty minutes to do the job. I am extremely impressed with their helpful spirit and they definitely will have me as a customer in the future.

Fantastic service from the whole team. I've been looking for an optometrist and tried all of the usual suspects without much success, overjoyed to have found Woodward Optical. The team were able to make my existing frames fit properly, they feel like a new pair of glasses! There was no pressure to buy new frames or anything else you get from the franchise outfits. The most wonderful service and excellent frames to choose from. I frequently have my glasses tightened and it's done on a walk in. I had such fantastic service when trying contacts for the first time as well. I tried them all, received constant help and patience- nothing was too much for this team. Can't recommend highly enough. I went to see Fraser because I had had trouble getting a good prescription, and Fraser was recommended to me by a professional working in the industry. My first appointment he spent an hour carefully assessing my eyesight and the glasses that resulted were perfect. I have been back as my eyes changed, it’s a relief to be able to trust the process. Thoroughly recommend.
