I had flashing lights in left eye for 2 days and someone told me it is a serious problem that if it is delayed too long, the retina can be detached. I called up the clinic for an urgent appointment and they were very accommodating to let me consult Dr Daniel Sim immediately. The procedure to rectify the problem was done the next day in Mt E. Dr Sim was very nice to explain the condition to me in details. Dr Sim did a good job. Procedure was painless.

Thank you, Dr Daniel Sim for restoring my right eye hazy vision to crystal clear after performing a posterior capsulotomy on the thickened capsule 7 years after the cataract operation. Also had my left cataract surgery done by Dr Daniel Sim at Mt Alvernia Hopital recently and I'm very happy with the care Dr Sim and the Mt Alvernia staff rendered. Not forgetting Dr Sim's staff, Li Leng, Hobson, Gina and Winnie for their kind reception. Greatly appreciate their help as scheduling patients' appointments is always a contentious issue with anxious patients with urgent eye conditions that need immediate attention.

The doctor is good but their scheduling is an insult to the patients - scheduled my appointment 3 months ago and had to wait 2 hours past my appointment time to see the doctor "because patients want to see the doctor before year end". Don't blame it on patients when it's you who booked too many people for the same day. Not to mention that lady whose appointment was 15 minutes after me saw the doctor first. I completely understand a delay and would be OK with one hour slip, but not two hours. Do not recommend this place to anyone.
