One of the worst doctors in town. Pls avoid. Doctor has link with Medall, Anderson, Apollo and Jaya Pharmacy. Went for a CT (for a stomach related issue) which was unnnecessary in the first place. Doctor spoke to the radiologist at Medall even before I got the report. After the report, went to the doctor and it showed that there is some issue in kidney and I need to take some tests for Kidney at Anderson. Later I took CT at another place which revealed the true colours of doctor and his nexus. In movies, we have seen how hospitals harass the patient and make money out of a traumatic situation. Its time to expose these type of doctors. save yourself! In case you have read till now and you are looking for a gastro, Dr Barnabas Durairaj (Isabel) is a very senior and good gastro doc.

Dr. Balasubramaniam Sir is one of the best Doctor. Very Professional. Always positive attitude. Not many people have a chance to say they have as great of a doctor as I do. He cares very much about all patients and no dissimilarity and helps the poor and needy cases with generous. Easy approachable kind hearted person. Others should learn from him how to care ppl comes for treatment. Great Person

Dr. Balasubramaniam is a well knowledgeable Doctor catering to all ages. Have had few visits over many years for myself and family members and it has always been good. Always to the point and never suggests any unwanted treatment or medicines. I had to go abroad after my endoscopy and he was kind enough to talk to me over the phone to provide the results and suggest next steps. Would highly recommend him for all Gastroenterologist requirements.

Bala Sir is one of the rarest doctors who does not want your body to get medicated. He does ask for some tests. But in the same time you should see the quantum of medicine he prescribes. He is such a gentleman and so as his son who is an eye surgeon. Have treated my problem with both of them and I am greatful for their treatment. May the almighty bless them hundred more carrier years.

Dr. Balasubramanian is excellent doctor and is gastroenterologist. He is having over 4 decades of experience in this field and listens to the patient very patiently. Support staff is also of good helping nature.

Dr. Balasubramanian runs a scam in the name of a Gastro clinic. The whole setup he has is just to milk people of their money to the max extent possible. In the name of a clinic, this guy is running a money making business, scamming and fleecing his patients in the name of medical care. I went there with him for some stomach issues for my aged father. He just fleeced us. Background: my father is a very healthy person in general. 1. He checked his heart and said there is a murmur and asked us to take ECG right in his clinic. I was surprised to hear about the heart issue - b'coz like I said he is a very healthy person. The ECG came clean (as expected). He charged us Rs.400 for ECG 2. He prescribed motion test. My dad had taken motion test just 3 days back and showed it to him. He did not even look at it and said, please repeat it in the lab of his choice. He definitely has commissions flowing to him from his preferred lab. 3. He asked us to do a abdomen scan and my dad said, he'll do it in Elrich Lab (which is where we go to all the time). The Dr. snapped back and insisted that we go to the Sai Scans in Mylapore (where he has a tie up for commissions again). 4. Right after we came out, he has his guys bug us like vultures asking for the prescription so that we can buy all the medicines right there. There also he is making money. Nett - this guy schemes new ways to milk his patients, to ensure they are all sucked dry!! PLEASE PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THIS Dr. SCAMMER!

Dr. Balasubramaniam scares the patient with over diagnosis. He threatens the patient that he may have something serious when they go for a simple illness. And he also persuades the patient to go for the scan centre/ lab he recommends. Even recommends the pharmacy in particular. He is very money minded.
