I am really upset on how this particular case of my mother was handled by the doctor Ravi Kumar . She came in emergency with eye infection and was given treatment but never tested eye pressure . She developed eye pain in three days after infection clearance . When clinic was contacted she was recommended to give warm hot compress and revisit again after a week time .after week time doctor found out it is acute closed angle glaucoma which requires immediate laser treatment and care . If was given proper attention the time she developed sever eye pain , her peripheral vision would not have affected and her optic nerve could have saved . Lack of timely actions and proper care was missed and so we are going through the loss now, people Who see this doctor please request/or ask for eye pressure check up even when they don’t recommend or don’t suspect anything . Eye pressure need to be checked for every visit irrespectively to prevent dangerous like these . Though he compensated by providing direction to glaucoma specialist , loss vision now cannot be reverted . My mom’s self confidence was brought down . I am sharing here , because people who are living far away and not able to take care of parents , are only trusting the doctors here . Please check twice or thrice during these situations .
