I was very pleased with the care my four-year-old received. The staff were incredibly patient and kind, checking his eyes multiple times to ensure accuracy. My dad recently had cataract surgery at Udhi Eye Hospital, and we’re really happy with the entire process. We did the consultation at their Velachery branch, but the surgery was at their Alwarpet branch. Even with this, everything was seamlessly coordinated between the two locations, so it wasn’t an issue at all. The doctors were kind and professional, and the staff made sure we felt supported every step of the way. Sundari, the surgery coordinator, was particularly helpful with handling all the insurance details, which made things much easier for us. One of the best parts was the minimal wait time. Once the appointment was set, everything moved along as scheduled, which we really appreciated. The hospital is also very clean, and with its location right across from Phoenix Mall and ample parking, getting there was easy. I’d definitely recommend Udhi Eye Hospital to anyone considering cataract surgery—they made the whole experience smooth and stress-free.

Had been to the Hospital for a Regular Check up .. the whole process was fast, eye testing, consultation and selection of frame and lens.... The doctor was to the point on diagnosis, and offered the various options available. The lady who did the eye test and was quite helpful in offering the various products available with them at various price points with its benefits as per the doctor's prescription... One point to note is that she was never pushy to sell a higher margin product and took effort and time to show the whole range of products.. Arthika was her name if I remember correctly..

Deeply disappointed with Udhi Hospitals. My elderly parents trusted them for an eye consultation earlier this year. Despite my father being diagnosed with cataracts, they convinced him to buy high-end glasses, costing a staggering Rs. 27,000. When we sought a second opinion from a senior doctor at Shankara Nethralaya, we were told that glasses should never have been prescribed for cataracts, confirming our worst fears about the misguidance. When I called Udhi Hospitals to question why they exploited my parents' trust, they dismissed my concerns with, 'There's no rule against recommending glasses for cataract patients.' This careless attitude towards elderly patients’ health and finances is appalling. I’m sharing this experience here to help others avoid falling prey to such practices.
