Udhi Eye Hospitals

I have been going to Udhi eye hospital since childhood. The quality of service is great. Their process is fast and efficient. Doctors, nurses and staff are excellent. Also one of the best hospitals to purchase spectacles. The staff is experienced and offer good support and advice on the spectacles. They are also very patient and kind. The delivery also has been fast.

It has been a great experience with Udhi hospital Velachery and Alwarpet. Dr. Sherran was very kind and patiently explained and opted out unnecessary surgery and clarified my doubts as well. The optical experience was very good. The staff nurse Aarthika/Mariselvi was very good in identifying my right power and suggested best option. Bought spectacles from Udhi opticals Alwarpet and Ms. Alageswari was very kind and patient enough in suggesting best suited glasses by explaining in detail and shown different catalogue options as well. She also gave a good discount finally and helpful person. Thank you and it has been a great experience overall.

Over the course of last 30 days my father has undergone cataract surgery for both his eyes. The Doctors are pretty good in diagnosis, treatment and explaining the after care. The counselors too play an important role in assisting the patients with all their queries. Overall it was a pleasant experience at the hospital with very minimal to no hassle.

It's very good hospital for all ages. We are customers for nearly 30 years now and they have very good doctors, nurses and staff provide excellent service. They maintain history of all patients very well and opticals,(azhageshwari madam) suggests good specs. Humble pharmacist and reception staffs. Thank you for being great hospital

I underwent cataract surgery on my left eye on the 17th of March 2025. Dr Sherren Raveendran explained the process very well pre operatively and the surgery went off well. The room nurse Ashwathy was very efficient and took care in the immediate post operative period. My councilor madam Sundari was very helpful in getting everything organized seamlessly for a successful outcome. She was helpful in explaining the post operative care and precautions to be taken and also in getting the discharge summary . In short,I am very satisfied with the efficiency dedication of everyone and the friendly atmosphere at the hospital and have no hesitation in recommending this hospital for all eye related issues.

We visited udhi for cataract surgeries for my mother. The doctors and the nurses were really helpful and the care received was good. They do have really good infrastructure and labs to cater to the patients. The receptionists, support staffs were all helpful. Wait time is not too long, so that’s nice. Parking spaces available which is a big plus. Two things they can improve: 1. the internal small cafeteria doesn’t open before 8.30-9 am and when we come for surgery in the early morning 6 am, we have to go out for any snacks/coffee/tea/tiffin. 2. The test reports taken prior to surgery if that can be given to patients by default during discharge instead of on-demand then it will be helpful (streamlines the entire experience) Overall, it is definitely a good experience and will recommend the hospital.

I went for cataract surgery in Udhi. The hospital is clean and hygienic: toilets, in particular. The entire staff have been kind and helpful. Thanks, Dr. Sherren and Dr. Sailatha for the good work and for clarifying my doubts. Sundari Madam, a senior staff member, provided able guidance with friendship and care at every stage: not only in person; but also over phone. I am grateful to her for clarifying certain cghs regulations and the protocols involved in such surgeries and procedures. Thanks Udhi Doctors and staff for all your guidance and help: which I appreciate as a Senior Citizen at my age of 78. Dr Sherren conducted cataract surgery for both eyes. I have experienced best in all ways . Councillor Sundari Madame helped me from 1st day till today very nicely. I really am blessed with such Doctor and Councillor.
