About
Dr A Srinivasan is the Founder, Medical Director of Madurai Eye Center. He has more than 35 years of experience in ophthalmology and is a pioneer in ophthalmology. He is an alumnus of Madurai Medical College where he completed his MBBS. Following his undergraduation, he went on to complete a Diploma in Ophthalmology (DO) and a Master’s in Ophthalmology (MS). He worked as a research fellow under the esteemed Dr Gholam Peyman, head of Vitreo-Retinal Service, at the University of Illinois, Chicago, USA in 1986. On 20th June 1993, he set up Madurai Eye Center at R S Puram, Coimbatore to establish a state-of-the-art eye hospital that would provide every patient with the best treatment at an affordable cost.
