Worst hospital i have ever seen so far. The staffs are very rude to patients both nurse and receptionist. Requesting you to guide them to behave properly. harsh behaviour and making the patients wait for long time makes terrible experience. Kindly chnage staff or advise them to behave properly. They are making the patient condition even worse by their rude attitude. While checking if the patient not able to follow the instructions they should guide them properly instead they are scolding them. I have seen this many times. @Aravind vision center please take necessary actions. Condition is very worst in pennadam branch.

There are only 2 staff available. One receptionist has her hands full with engaging with patients, giving them new aravind hospital UID cards, checking pressure and sugar levels, also fixing appointment for cataract operations and such. The other staff is nurse who actually checks you and the doctor is available in video call who also asks patients questions to diagnose their problem. They both are very busy. So they cannot attend calls from patients who want to book appointments by phonecall so better go early to the hospital and book appointment and person. If they give you a appointment number please wait and check. If you leave then you appointment is over and so the next patients will go, if you come back late it is difficult for them to send you again. Because they will enter everything in the system and once your appointment is over the system will not allow you back, it will go to the next patient. The opening time for post operation checkup patients is 8:30 AM. For Out Patients the opening time is 9:00 AM. Go in advance and get your appointment (Token).
Staff is behaving harshly. Not attended phone calls. When went to receive spects she deliberately made my mother wait for a long time and the way she spoke is worst of all.. Staff must have to be polite. I request the organisation to change the staff at reception. Want to file a official complaint. Kindly update the mail ID of pondicherry branch.
