To, The Management, Rishi Nethralaya Hospital, Subject: Complaint Regarding Unprofessional Behavior of Watchman and cleaning old lady staff Dear Sir/Madam, I recently visited Rishi Nethralaya Hospital and had an unpleasant experience with the behavior of your lady cleaning staff. The watchman spoke in a disrespectful manner, which was unprofessional and unacceptable. Additionally, some of the lady cleaning staff members were asking for money and did not treat the patients or visitors with the necessary courtesy and respect. As a reputed hospital, we expect professional and polite behavior from all staff members. Very bitter experience @ reception .Dr is very smart and kindly. But @ reception they are behaving very rude especially that lady bynsme Barvin Banu is very harsh towards patients. Definitely itwillspoil thejospital name

Poor management services. Staff are working with overloaded.Doctor will not answer our questions. If management continues the same approach, good treatment will not reach the patient. Time to change your methodology. Best of luck .

My 75days old baby boy had ear infection and cold for the past 20 days. Our paediatrician gave treatment for cold, so that the fuss releasing from the baby's ear would go away. But it didnt. Then we realised its due to some fungal infection. The paediatric gave an ear drop by which my baby's ear was cured within a day. But then, she adviced us to show our baby to an ENT speacialist, so that if any interior infection could be treated. So we came to Rishi Nethralaya Dr.Shanthi Selvarangam. The hospital scenario was so pathetic, that from the security to the receptionist were so irresponsible to answer any patients queries. Finally, the Doctor.. Dr.Shanthi.. She didnt have any updated apparatus to check the ear.. She inserted a long steel rod like sharp thing with a little cotton in to my baby's ear. Omg.. I was shocked by her way of treating my baby.. She was saying to hold the baby's head tight. How could that be possible?? Can a 2 n half month old baby listen to what doctor says? My baby cried aloud.. Thank god, my baby didnt have any injury. She suggested that there is no infection, but then the ear must be cleaned. So she said to continue the drops for another 5 days and then visit her again. I cant even imagine. A new born baby having its ear cleaned?? Is it even sounding logical?? We immediately rushed out from the hospital, and promised to never go there again. Such a poor treatment and poor hospitality. I dont know about the eye specialist. But the ENT specialist is not worth for kids.

Providing good service. Hospital is maintaining by the founder itself, Dr. Selvarangam - chief eye surgeon. His wife Dr. Santhi is ENT specialist. Hospital was already crossed it's 15th year. They having their motto - High Health for Low Wealth.
