I had a very good experience at Agarwal Eye Hospital, Thanjavur. The staff were kind, helpful, and made me feel very comfortable. A big thank you to Dr. Shanthi for her wonderful care—she is very friendly , kind, patient, and truly professional. She explained everything clearly and treated me with great care. The assistant was also very friendly and supportive. I really appreciate their teamwork and dedication. I highly recommend this hospital to anyone looking for the best eye care. We had one of our worst experiences at Dr. Agarwal’s Eye Hospital in Thanjavur. Two years ago, the doctors were humble and professional, which is why we chose to return. Unfortunately, that standard has significantly dropped. The hospital no longer retains experienced doctors, and there seems to be a frequent change in staff. The current team lacks professionalism and behaves as though they are offering free services, similar to what you might expect in a government hospital—though even GH offers better care in some cases. Elderly patients require special attention, especially during surgeries. However, Dr. SivaPriya was extremely arrogant, and her behavior deeply upset my mother-in-law, leaving her frightened and anxious. I trusted the reputation of Agarwal’s and allowed the procedure to go ahead in my absence, but that trust was clearly misplaced due to the unethical and unprofessional treatment she received. This hospital charges a premium for its services, yet the quality of care no longer reflects that. People used to choose Agarwal’s for the compassion and professionalism, but that has clearly changed. Please remember that your reputation in Thanjavur doesn't guarantee continued trust—we will not hesitate to share our negative experience publicly if needed.

Worst experience, Today I have seen eye consultant in Thanjavur branch and she said just follow the power glass even iam explening my problem in eye but she didn't care about it She didn't say solution or treatment for problem I don't know she is really eye doctor? Dr.Agarwal Eye Hospital management should take action against doctor.

They are kind. Diagnosis is good. Procedure is fast. But after diagnosis i didn't have any issues in reading, but still they said, you have +1.25 power and to use specs. I denied it. Seems, They want us to buy something from their business, even if We don't have any issues. Else everything is nice.
