Dr. Akbar Super Speciality Eye Hospital Mehdipatnam Hyderabad

I visited this eye hospital recently and was impressed with the beautiful design and nice interior. The ambiance is definitely calming and welcoming. However, there are a couple of major issues that need attention. Firstly, the lift is always out of order, which is a huge problem for senior citizens who are already struggling with their vision and need to visit the hospital for check-ups. Secondly, the doctors are often late, which can be frustrating for patients who have taken time out of their schedules for appointments. On a positive note, the parking facilities are quite good. Overall, I hope the hospital management takes steps to address these issues, as they have the potential to greatly improve the patient experience.

Worst experience ever. Firstly we're asked to come at a time and upon arrival we're asked to wait for another 1.5 hrs as dr was busy in surgery. Total wait time is 2.5 hours and no proper response from management. When asked to speak with manager we get a blunt response manager is eating lunch while the patients are made to wait in vain. If only we knew it was going to take that long would have preferred coming back another day or consulting someone more professional as dr claimed she informed her staff to send us back but noone informed us so When checked previous reviews i saw post asking people to approach management directly for issue resolution but apparently thats just for posting here and noone really cares

I'm extremely disappointed with my recent experience. I had a scheduled appointment with Dr. Tulasi at 10 am, which I confirmed a day prior. I arrived 30 minutes early at 9:30 am, only to wait until 10:15 am to be informed that Dr. Tulasi wasn't coming in. To make matters worse, I was then asked to see Dr. Vasavi, who was supposedly on her way. However, she didn't arrive until 11 am. The lack of communication and disregard for scheduled timings is unacceptable. I expect a certain level of respect for my time. I hope the hospital administration takes steps to address these issues and improves their operational efficiency.

I was wearing thick glasses since childhood.and I got cataract in my both eyes I was searching best eye hospital. I visited many eye hospital and eye surgeon my case was complicated. Then I visited this hospital. I meet with Dr altaf sir guinly he is a golden heart person who performed my surgery with effordable cost.surgery was painless and Without injection thank you so much Dr altaf sir.......

I'm visiting this hospital since 2010/11. Had a cataract surgery for my father recently in 2025. Great explanation and recovery in best humane manner. No post operation issues. An absolutely great hospital let down by LONG WAITING TIME. From Doctors to staff to parking space everything is good EXCEPT WAITING QUEUE and PRESCRIPTION COUNTER IN SPECS COUNTER. Reputed hospital making customer walk to specs shop for prescription (footfall/sales) doesn't look nice. Tip for hospital - Instead of calling names manually please install TV which displays &/or announce Token number and room number or counter number to patients

Worse management ever seen. Waiting time is too long. (3-4 hours) Better to consult in other hospitals.

Excellent service. Day before yesterday,My father in law had undergone a cataract surgery here. Alhamdulillah he is very happy with the surgery.Best service given by the doctors as well as the staff. I highly recommend this hospital to the one who is having any issues related to their eyes. Thank u so much 😊
