Dr Agarwals Eye Hospital

The worst staff I have ever seen in any hospital before this incident. On 20th Dec I went to Dr Agarwal's eye hospital Madinaguda branch for a checkup. Completed check up and found there is a cataract stage 3. They said that it has to be removed by operation and the surgeon Dr. Rajyalaxmi is not present now. Come tomorrow, she will check again and fix the date to operate. I had already booked ticket to go on long leave and I had to board the train on 25th Dec. So I told them I can't operate now let me come back from my home town Bhubaneswar. I shall come back after Pongal may be on 18th of January. She replied OK. That time I was unable to see properly as the cataract had been expanded to its largest due to the drops added by the hospital. With difficulty I reached home. Up to 15days I was unable to visualise properly. Finally I came back to Hyderabad on 26th Jan evening. But again there was a professional tour plan from 29th jan to 7th February. After returning from tour, on 11th I went to Dr. Agarwal's eye hospital, Madinaguda and met the same lady, who had told me to come after Pongal. Shown her the report. She said, it is one month old, again you have to start from the beginning. It is valid only for 15days." I requested her, "just I would meet the surgeon and shall proceed as per her advice." She advised me to go to reception. I went there. The front desk lady also told me the same to repeat everything. My problem was after adding drops I was unable to visualise properly for 15days. I asked them if I can meet the doctor for seconds fix the date of operation then add drops and do it as needed. One person told ok, wait for some time I shall let you know. Dr will come at 1230PM. After half an hour he called me and told, doctor is there, pl pay 500 rupees. I paid the amount and waited there. I got a call on my name. I went there and saw that it is a testing room. I came back to reception and again reiterated that I only paid for consulting the doctor. Again they asked me to wait. After some time, again I got a call from same counter. I just eyed to reception. The person hinting me to go on. I asked him," Are you not understanding my needs. Clearly told you to that I need to meet doctor first." He asked me to wait. After some time the person asked me to come along with him. He took me to one room. The person sitting there (Mr. Vinay) said Dr. is on leave . *Check the difference. One person told dr. is there, pl pay 500/-* Finally other person saying dr is on leave. Pl come on 13 th Feb. 13th Feb, today I went there. But the same thing they have not allowed me to meet the doctor and forced me to go for testing again. And Mr. Vinay who had asked me to come on 13th argued with me that he has told me on 11th that I was agreed to go through the process. Finally they returned me the consulting fees I had paid. I lost all my trust on this hospital and came back.

I had an excellent experience at Dr Agrwal eye hospital The staff were professional, caring, and attentive from the moment I arrived. The doctors were knowledgeable and took the time to explain everything clearly, making sure I felt comfortable and informed throughout my treatment. The facilities were clean, modern, and well-maintained, which added to the overall sense of trust and safety. I especially appreciated the prompt service and the genuine compassion shown.

I have good experience with Dr. Agarwal eye hospital. The staff is very courteous. Each and everybody cooperated nicely. The ambience of hospital is very clean & pleasing. Mrs.. Kavita counseling department has helped & guided a lot from time to time for getting my two eyes operated for cataract problem. Dr. Rajya laxmi is also with very nice & pleasing nature who has operated my both the eyes very skillfully . Now I am very happy with your hospital services . I thank you so much.

I consulted Dr. Rajya Laxmi garu for my mother’s cataract surgery. She diagnosed really well, answered all my queries and did the surgery really well.A painless surgery!! I would like to mention about the counsellor Kavitha garu. She really made my life easy through out the appointment and claims process. She was polite and responded to all my queries with patience.Her help was instrumental for the smooth transition!!! Overall my experience with Madeenaguda Dr.Agarwals hospital team is really great 👍

Very nice. One small request. Parking places are to be kept neat and clean, today I could see lot of garbage bags, dead rats (bigger size )fallen at randpm places. Somebody should check. Thanks.

Hello....Dr.Rajyalakshmi has operated my father's both eyes cataract. The operation went well and he is doing absolutely fine without any issues ..frequent checkups are also done by hospital, it's very patient friendly...and the staff behaviour is also very generous towards the patient... Doctor has done a good job with my father's eyes.. he is very happy now .
