I had a great experience at Premier Eye Associates. It was a nice space and the staff were all super nice! They were professional, efficient and friendly and answered any questions I had. Dr Taylor-Rose was really awesome and fun! I also really enjoyed working with Ellen who helped me choose a new pair of glasses! She had great advice and a sweet personality. Can't wait to pick up my glasses in 2 weeks! Next I will be bringing in my teen son and husband!

I've been struggling with life-altering vertigo for about a year. Suspecting it could be connected to my vision, I shared my symptoms with Dr. Rose. She listened attentively, never rushed me, and immediately began running tests. In doing so, she discovered an issue with my eyes I didn't even know I had--one that could be contributing or causing my vertigo. What truly stood out was how patiently and clearly she explained everything to me. She answered all of my questions thoroughly and made sure I understood my condition. She's also extremely kind and has fantastic bedside manner. After seeing many doctors over the past few years, I can confidently say Dr. Rose is only the second doctor who made me feel seen, heard, and cared for. Because of all of the negative experiences I've had with doctors, I usually go into appointments not expecting doctors to care or help me, so her compassion and determination to get to the root of the issue meant the world to me. Afterward, I was helped by Ellen to order my new glasses. I asked her a ridiculous amount of questions, and she answered every single one with kindness and patience. She made the entire process smooth and stress-free. So far my glasses seem to be helping with my vertigo (yay!)! I can't recommend Premiere Eye Associates enough. If you're looking for thorough, compassionate, and truly excellent care--this is the place.

Premiere is the best! My frames to my glasses broke and the practice where I was receiving care were no help at all. Premiere helped me locate an identical pair of frames, fit the lenses for me, gave me an appointment for the next week. It was the most thorough and well explained eye exam in all of my years here in Auburn!

I had a medical eye emergency and needed to be seen by an in-person physician. I discovered that many Optical shops now do not have staff in office, but rather virtual consultations. I called Premier Eye Associates in Opelika and they directed me to their Auburn office who had in-person physicians. They did not have any appointment available until the next day, but given my urgent situation they were able to work me in the same day. I ended up needing a foreign body extracted from my left eyeball. (Likely a splinter from my eyeliner pencil- OUCH!). I recieved an Rx for antibiotic eye drops and a follow up appointment. My husband and I have both had LASIK years ago and do not carry a Vision policy so we were self pay for services not covered under our medical insurance. Even at self pay rate, it was affordable. I absolutely reccommend, especially if you will need more eye care than just a prescription for contacts or glasses.

This was my first time utilizing Premier Eye Associates and it was certainly a pleasant experience. From the time I arrived, to completing my eye exam and picking out new glasses and contacts, I felt welcomed, valued and appreciated. Granted I spent a little more on (glasses/contacts) than I expected, but it was definitely worth it and I would do it again! Dr. Rose and her staff definitely know how to go above and beyond! It's hard to find good customer service and good doctors/staff these days, but Premier Eye Associates definitely understood the assignment. If you are in the market for a new optometrist, do yourself a favor and make an appointment today. It's as easy as going to their website, looking at the availability calendar and entering your info. You don't even have to call.

Beware of the scam Spina and his office manager is running at this clinic. I visited them on 03/06/24 for an eye exam. I bought prescription glasses as well. I was also presented with $39.99 protection program for 1 year and bought that as well. Overall my visit ended up with $678.79. See the receipt attached. My portion was $139.71 which I paid before I left. I was told I will get my glasses in a week or so. Waited for 10 days but did not hear anything. So called the clinic and was put on hold for few mins. Then I was told I will get a call back from someone. Waited for the whole day but no one did. So called the clinic next day again and was put on hold and was told someone will call back. This happened 3 times. After almost 20 days, got a text message on 25th March that the glasses were ready for pick up. I went to pick up the glasses, signed the paper work and came home. As I put on my glasses, noticed the frame was scratched up and the hinges would wobble. I called the clinic back in 20 mins after I picked up. The office manager picked up and said I would have to go back for them to look at. The day after I went back and there was no one but one employee. I showed her the issue and explained everything. I was told she could not do anything until office manager is back. I left my glasses and told them I would like a full refund at this point (I have had enough). Basically, it costed me $678.79 including insurance and $139.71 of my portion to receive scratched up glasses after waiting for 20 days and several phone calls that no one responded to. Not to mention, they collected extra $10 copay that they never refunded. After a day, I got call back from office manager and she said she would be happy to fix my glasses for "free of cost" as if she was doing me a big favor. The other option she mentioned was they would refund with 30% restocking fee. Note that I did pay $39.99 protection upfront when I visited on 03/06. I would have considered fixing it but instead of apologizing for charging me extra $10 copay and never refunding, making me wait for 20 days without at least answering to my phone calls, receiving scratched up glasses for which it costed premium, the manager made it sound like she was doing me a big favor by offering to fix it for free of cost. At this point I was extremely frustrated with the service and attitude of Spina and his manager. I called my insurance company and even my insurance company asked them to refund my money so I can buy my glasses from else where. I waited till 04/08 asking for refund but they never did. Instead they would try to avoid my calls and text and if they picked up by mistake, would be rude. Note that at this point, they kept the Glasses, Insurance Money, the Patient portion, Extra Copay and the $39.99 protection program all with them and would not respond to my call. I finally bought new glasses from another eye clinic on 04/08 and paid extra. The very next day on 04/09 at 2:01 PM, Spina mailed me the package (which I have not opened yet but I assume it's glasses I had left at the clinic which is no use to me). He still owes me the refund. I am working to make sure they don't do this to another patient. They don't care about you as a patient. I understand as a business you have to make money, but these folks are scamming people by making them sign documents that you would sign in a good faith and then use that against you as an excuse. Look at all the negative comments in the review. Those are real. 04/23/24: Update after Owner's response. You guys have no ethics at all. Everything in your response is a BIG Lie and easy to prove it. I received a message on 25th March to pick up my glasses. I visited on 6th March. That's not 10 Days turnaround. See attachment Message. Secondarily, the glasses were damaged and I called in 20 mins after I got home not 10 days. See call log. Picked up on 25th at 4:30pm and in 20 mins at 4:54pm, called to let you know. Homeless has more integrity than you Spina. Shame on you! Folks, BE VERY CAREFUL if you plan to visit them!
