Doctor was super attentive and thorough with the exam and what to expect during the process. She laughed and talked with us during our visit,Staff was friendly and my son received his glasses the same day. We would definitely return

Good morning, I bought my grandson in on yesterday July 17th and he just love this place. The staff was very friendly and the doctor talked to him on his level instead of over his head. The only thing I didn't like was that they don't accept debit/credit cards and I forgot to get his doctor excuse and I called to ask if they could email it to me and was told no. It would be nice if you would consider these two suggestion. Thank you.

My grandson loves going here. He said his eye Dr is really awesome. He broke his glasses on 2 different occasions where we had to go get them repaired, no problems, they were on top of things. No waiting. No more than 15 mins. tops. Everyone was polite and extremely professional doing their job with no complaints, they didn't huff and puff like most medical personnel do, like you are bothering them keeping them bc they're on the phone, ignoring you like they can't see you standing there and then walks away are those who work the front desk, set appts. & verifying insurance. Not here. They are kid friendly and just an "Outstanding" place to have eye care.

Exceptionally kind and knowledgable staff. With our appointment, my son and I were both in and out with eye exams and his new glasses in 1 hr 15 min. Nice selection of frames. I picked my glasses up 2 days later as they were bifocals. We are both very happy with our new eyeglasses and I highly recommend this place! They accept both adult and child Alabama Medicaid and have reasonable cash prices also.

Very Rude Front Desk Employees. There's a white girl with dark hair she's actually been working there for awhile,she's been with them since they were at the old building VERY NASTY ATTITUDE and I felt very insulted when she was watching me & my daughter when we were choosing our glasses as if we were gonna steal some glasses but wasn't watching the customer before us that btw were white. I get our glasses for free anyway because of my insurance so there were no need to steal. The doctor is very nice and pleasant though.

This place always provide great services to my kids. The dark haired girl is always so professional, nice and goes beyond her call of duty to make sure me and my 6 kids have a awesome experience.

*All black people don't steal especially insurance information* Yesterday was my first time visiting the ECP with my son. Prior to our vistit I was informed that they needed to verify my insurance over the phone before the visit which I did last week! When we got there yesterday the receptionist then said they needed the form, I ask if we needed to reschedule before moving along with the sign in process. She advised me to complete the form and the doctor will be out shortly. I signed the form in my marriage name and the walked to the car just to double check when I got back inside the Doctor was standing there! Again I told them I left the info needed at home(5 mins away) that I could run home to get it or reschedule the appt. The Doctor made a comment as if I was stealing someone insurance information so I told her just to cancel the appt! She ensured everything was ok until we got to the back with my son, she went on to tell him of he lie about his exam what will be the outcome.(Why would he lie?) I explained to her his school recommended he needed an eye exam after the vision test they gave at his school she just insisted that my son only wanted glasses to look cool pretty much as if he wasted her time! UAB School of Optometry is where we'll be going from now on!
