The Dr. is very honest. I was used to the typical overselling and get a print of my prescription because most optometry shops adjust you just enough to need a new prescription annually (buy new glasses). Here, there was a good exam and no attempt to sell unnecessary glasses.

This place is AWEFUL. If I could leave a 0 star i would. The way they treat customers and talk to people is horrible. I reported to Medicaid And they are taking care of us. I recorded it today when they called wanting to reorder my grandsons glasses I declines and the lady laughed and said suits me fine

1 star is too high for this place. If you live in TN and plan to get your glasses in TN then DO NOT GO HERE! Do not use them for glasses if you real most of their reviews they take forever. They wasted my time and gave me a hand written prescription that reputable eye care and glasses centers will not use and they state my prescription is missing information that is required by TN law.

Had a great experience. They had me scheduled for 4pm but got me in at 2:45pm due to a last minute scheduling conflict. Once I showed up, the receptionist was very nice and welcoming. I was seen on time had my eyes examined and prescription was ready within 5 minutes of exam. Total experience was all within 20 minutes. Very nice people! Would recommend. Also had no issues with them accepting my VA coverage. Very pleased!

I have many bad things to say, but has anyone had to pay taxes on their glasses with eyewear coverage? I am a new customer and was charged taxes.I called Cigna and they wanted to call them on 3 way and tell Family Vision that I have 0 copay and no taxes. I decided not to buy glasses there. I have never paid taxes before in my 15 years of wearing glasses

Couldnt get my prescription correct on my glasses, told me I needed reading glasses so they sold me on progressive lenses. Glasses were wrong so i was sent to the retna specialists in Huntsville. They said I needed single vision only. Brought single vision script back to FVC and they made it into a progressive yet again. They said not their problem so now I have 2 pairs of glasses that cost me $740 that I cant wear. They wont refund my money. Garbage people that make garbage glasses. Walmart made 2 pairs of glasses for me for $160 that are perfect. Hopefully FVC goes out of business.

By comparison, this office is great. Went to EyeCare Associates last year, had to schedule months in advance, had a long wait, and then felt rushed through when we were finally seen. Nothing was ever mentioned about possible issues. Family Vision Center was very in-and-out. Appointment scheduled for the next week, showed up, got called back, checked out, and prescriptions issued within 20 minutes of completing paperwork. In addition, the doctor seemed to genuinely care; told my wife he wanted to get with our previous optometrist to discuss possible deterioration in her right eye which might be a cataract. Quoted 2 weeks wait time for glasses.

My husband and I went here a few months back. He went for glasses, I went for contacts. We got there and filled out our paperwork and was told we would be called back in a few minutes. A family of three came in a good 15 minutes after we were told we would be called back shortly. The family got called back first and took nearly 45 minutes for us to be seen. We were told it would take about a week to two weeks for our stuff to come in. Two weeks later I called to check in and my husband's glasses had arrived and they hadn't even attempted to call either me or my husband. My contacts had yet to be delivered. It took three months for my contacts to be delivered. Every time I would call, they would give me some nonsense about how it goes through the lab of my insurance and that's why it is taking so long (it never took this long at any other vision center). I will never do business with them again.
