Walmart Vision & Glasses

I was referred to Walmart vision by a dear friend Jessica H. I brought my daughter in for a routine eye appointment to get some new glasses. The staff was absolutely amazing. Very friendly and personable. We walked in as customers and walked out feeling like friends.

Went to pick up my glasses, and they were closed. Their sign said they close at 6. It was 5:50 and all the doors were locked and down, it is a Wednesday so they should be open until 6. Even though the hours on Google say 7. Regardless they closed early and inconvenienced me. Now I have to come back another day.

We just want to say how great Meka and Tristan are at the Semmes Walmart Vision Center. They are professional and go above and beyond to be helpful. My husband and I will continue going to THIS vision center due to this great service. Thank you, Meka and Tristan!

Laura here is not friendly, is unprofessional. When my daughter and I first came she was arguing with another associate and it made us feel very uncomfortable. I should have left then but I said to myself perhaps she's just tired and overworked, it's early. I then called back to see about getting the details for my prescription and she immediately began talking and telling me she couldn't give me any information, she refused to fax it to my work place (a doctors office) and stated it probably wasn't even in my chart. She then called me back with the information to my prescription since it was in my chart (I was previously told it would be) but she complained about how she's the only one working and then said she wasn't trying to "go against me" (I guess she picked up on her aggressive over talking of me) and I finally had enough and stated, "yes ma'm you are." She jumped straight to telling me her manager will be back in an hour and I can talk to them. wow. I'd probably just avoid this place if I were you... sometimes paying a little more for quality care is worth it! I guess I have to talk to the manager who might tell me what my prescription is.. that I paid for.. and still can't receive.

Charged my elderly parent $60 for a rejection to get new glasses bc cataracts had worsened. Dr. Hallie Henderson referred to a specific eye surgeon without giving a reason for that choice, such as reputation or success rate. When I called THE SAME DAY, hours later, the clerk was not professional, acted as if the doctor's motive should not be questioned, said I was unable to speak with Dr. H, and was told she would not be available for six days, and made no offer to have her return my call, and acted care-less. So without doc to explain the referral, I changed to a cataract surgeon with whom I had some familiarity. This could have been avoided had they looked at my parent's file when I called months before to inform of issues with aging, bc the cataracts had already been detected and they had not informed a family member or requested one to accompany the patient.
