Mind you, this is one of the only places that accepts Medicaid. My five year old failed her vision test twice at her pediatrician so they recommended this place. Appointments were set so far out, her wait was 3 months. Okay cool. No problem. But the receptionist was definitely rude and should work somewhere else. The doctor and dark haired lady in the back are both great though. Very patient and understanding. The doctor walked my very scared five year old through the entire process and made her super comfortable. Only complaint is the girl up front. She can go. We would all be happy.

I have used this office since it was owned by the man that used to own it, I have literally came here since I was in elementary school and I'm about to be 25. It used to be so simple to schedule an appointment and get seen now they won't even schedule my 6 month appointment or my yearly appointment because they can't schedule for a Wednesday that far out. They are open on Wednesdays so it doesn't really make much sense. Last year they scheduled me a Wednesday appointment but then when it came closer they called me to reschedule it and wouldn't reschedule it for a Wednesday so I had to go on a wait list and just got lucky that someone else canceled their appointment on a Wednesday. I only get Wednesdays off so I guess I will find somewhere else to go, I was continuing to come here because I was trying to continue supporting a local small business. I drive 30 minutes to come here even though there is an eye doctor 5 minutes from my apartment. Dr.Wood is very nice but the young girl at the desk with freckles and blondish hair just seems like she should be doing something else. She's not very friendly with the public. It should not be difficult to schedule a follow up appointment for 6 months and 1 year out. I could understand if I was trying to make a last minute appointment but I'm not. Thankful for the service they provided but won't be back.

I love Dr Audrey and the young lady that sits in the back but that receptionist in the front is horrible! She is not friendly at all, doesn't greet you when you come in, and should not be working with the public! I have been to the office 3 times and never once has she said Hello, how are you? or Hi, how can I help you?.... I received a call to pick up my trial contacts on Tuesday and was told they would be open until 5:00 on Wednesday. When I arrived around 3:15 on Wednesday the door was locked. I ring the doorbell and she comes to the door and sticks her head out and says "yes?" instead of "Hi, how can I help you" or something similar. I told her the reason I was there and she says hold on and closes the door back. When she returned with the contacts I asked for a case and she says they don't come with a case. There is a huge jar/vase of contact cases/holders outside of the restroom that have been offered to me before, but now you are saying they don't come with a case. If this office had a different receptionist up front they would have received 5 stars.

I will go blind before I ever visit this establishment again. 15 year customer and the one time I call for what I feel is a serious issue with my right eye, they ignore me.

I have never heard of such b.s. in my entire life.I went here after waiting for an appointment and I'm very disappointed. Ordered eye glasses (later found out that the frames are cheap and overpriced)I paid $330 which is what she said I owed after insurance in which she said would only pay $250. Fast forward and I get my insurance statement with the break down they paid $276. I asked for my overpayment and This office is giving me the run around about $26 dollars.The statement states it was paid on 8/1/24 yet and still she keeps saying she haven't received it to determined if I overpaid.Its in black and white on the statement! Then the nasty attitude receptionist tells me if it has been an overpayment they will apply it to my account!! What account? I had to pay full price for my services there. I did not set up an account or sign anything binding me to them. I plan to never return! Just run me my funds!! This is crazy.I reserve the right to go where I please for services that I pay for! And yes I know 26 bucks is small but you just don't take ppl hard earned money. I was already deceived with the cheap frames. They keep spewing all kinds of bs like I'm dumb.I'm Highly pissed. I wished I had read the reviews first .I never would've stepped foot in that place.Also she just handed me my glasses from behind the desk.NO FITTING,ADJUSTMENTS OR ANYTHING! Basically you are on your own after they have been paid I guess.

Had an exe exam two months ago and forgot to bring my co pay. The owner told to go to the front desk and reschedule for another date. Got to the front desk and the girl working the front stated that they had no appointments available at the moment and I'll be out on the waiting list. It's now October and I have called several times with no call back or answer in order to schedule the eye exam. So in the meantime I went elsewhere for an eye exam. Called Wood Family Eye Care today and advised I've already gotten an eye exam and I have my prescription order because I need to order glasses through them. The girl that answered was rude and unprofessional asked me why I didn't call them. After explaining that they told me they would call me when they have availability then she proceeded to say that I am still on the wait list. I asked why can't I come to them to have my glasses ordered since I'm a customer of them for years now and she still did not give me a valid reason or an answer why. I will never go back to them . I'll take my money and business elsewhere!

Very thorough with My child! No real wait time! I have been to 3 different eye doctors with my children and I like her best! Ty!

It took so long to get an appointment. The staff don't wait on you like they use to. When I went to pickup my glasses she just handed them to me out the window. I told her I would need an adjustment. She said they probably be ok. They receptionist worked on them a little. I said no this ain't working. Finall got someone to come out to the waiting room to see me. I don't like them. I don't want them. Now I can't get in touch with them
