Very caring staff and doctors. They respected my needs and treated me very kindly. Because of how kindly they treated me, I will always come back to Barnett Delaney with all my eye care needs as I prefer to stay local in such matters.

Sorry to say, my visit was quite different than it had been in the past. My appointment was scheduled for 9:10, I believe I was called in about 9:50, then I had to wait again to see the optometrist (I was told there 3 patients ahead of me). My examination seemed very rushed. I scheduled another appointment to have my vision checked, I hope that one will be better. I miss Dr. Woods...

I have been going to the Barnet Dulaney Eye center for years. I really liked the prior optometrist (Russell Woods), who sadly retired several years ago. he was great and always a pleasure to talk to and he answered questions with ease. They have a few new ones that come in a couple days a week, but the guy i have seen always seems rushed and makes me feel like I am putting him out by asking several questions. He will answer them, but it sure feels like he would rather be anywhere else. I don't know the bed side manner of the other two who share duties there. I did really like that they got me in the next day after I called and I do feel I get good quality care there.

they never answer the phone. guess they don't care to have your business, or you as a person for that matter

The appointment was on time, everything was efficient, I got new glasses ordered, the whole process was smooth.

I wasn't happy at all with this company when my husband and son both had eye appointments there. First off, after my son's eye appointment, we were then told that his insurance covers the exam, but they don't accept it for glasses. For my husband's appointment, we were told that they don't take his insurance so we had to pay out if pocket for his exam. I'm so confused as to why neither of these things were told to us when scheduling the appointments. We live just a little over an hour away from the business and now have to make another trip out of town to go buy glasses. I would of rather known this upfront and we could have saved ourself a extra trip and saved ourselves money for an exam that would have been covered elsewhere if they had let us know that they didn't take my husband's insurance. I've never had a eye place do that before and wait until we've driven all the way to our appointments to let us know. I'd never go back to this business. Kind of unprofessional if u ask me. It may not seem significant but with the cost of everything lately and living far away from any cities, gas isn't cheap and we should have been told so we didn't waste a trio out of town, just to have to go somewhere else for glasses now.

VA scheduled my annual visit. This go around, I was asked to use the kiosk to enter information before my appointment. I actually had done most of this a week prior at home. BDP had sent me an email. Wait time was short, and I had the opportunity to see a young doctor who was filling in on Wednesdays. He was very pleasant and answered my question. The rest of the staff, both in assisting the doctor and in the eye wear department, were too pleasant and moved me along.
