Wow this practice is nothing short of PHENOMENAL! Dr Churgin is so kind, patient and explains everything clearly. Macular degeneration is scary and I went to another retina specialist first, who had a terrible bedside manner - didn't explain anything and was very short with me. They also overbooked so that everyone had to wait hours...not Dr Hobbs and Churgin! They do not overbook and get you right in. Dr Churgin is wonderful with the injection...it didn't hurt or feel scratchy afterwards, and with the other doctor it hurt for a week! I cannot sing their praises enough!! Thank you for being such a wonderful practice and taking such great care of your patients!

Dr Hobbs is the greatest Dr ever,very caring. My husband had a surgery and his pressure went up to 55 I called him on a Sunday he was in church and said to meet him at the office. He helped the pressure go down to 24 and wanted to see him in the morning his pressure drop to a 10. He is the best and recommend him highly the staff is also very friendly and caring

I was referred to Arizona Retina Associates by another ophthalmologist after having some issues after cataract surgery. The young lady at the check-in desk was friendly. And I was totally impressed by Dr. Hobbs comforting nature. He did a full exam, found I had a hole or a tear in my retina. He immediately took the time to explain the "hows and whys" about the problem and the solution and did some laser work on the spot. i did a follow up visit a week later and everyone was just as courteous as the first visit! I highly recommend this practice!

I've had AMD for over ten years and have seen several Retinol Specialists Dr Hobbs is the best providers I have seen. The entire staff is very friendly and professional. Dr. Hobbs has always taken the time to answer all my questions and the injections have been the least impactful I've ever gotten.

I had an orange spot in my vision recently that concerned me so much that I went to the eye doctor who then referred me to Dr. Hobbs with Arizona Retina Associates for a deeper look. I got in quickly the next day, on time, did a bunch of testing on my eyes. When I met Dr. Hobbs it was so laidback in a way that allows you to build rapport with him very quickly. You almost feel like this is someone you've known for years and can just open up to, he was very confident and knowledgeable when asked questions. Made me feel reassured about the situation affecting me and what to look for/watch for until this spot resolves itself in time. It was surprisingly an extremely enjoyable experience, as far as health-related things go, this was top notch. There was no rush, it felt like Dr. Hobbs really cared and that means a lot to me.

I first met Dr. Hobbs about 4 years ago when I had a tear in my retina. The event was very unexpected and late in the day. Dr. Hobbs responded quickly and performed a laser procedure repairing the tear. Since that time, he has consistently taken excellent care of both my wife and me when we've had any concerns with our eyes. Without exception, he's been extremely responsive, even when it's been after hours. On one occasion, he was out having dinner with his family, after which he met us at his office to examine my wife's eyes, making sure the situation wasn't critical. He and his office staff are extremely caring and professional. I highly recommend Dr. Hobbs for anyone needing retinal care.

Awesome doctor and staff. Fix my retina tear, i got in quick for a surgey appointment. Repair was painless. It was a very scary problem. But everyone in the office was super comforting and friendly.
