Wonderful staff! Dr Funke....if you're blessed to have her as your Dr, you have many and I do mean many blessings! She very thorough and knowledgeable! Very friendly, down to earth and makes you feel comfortable with any decisions that you make. If you're looking for a great staff and Dr I totally recommend that you go see her!!! I'm 73 and was so blessed to get the opportunity to get into see her! Thank you Dr Funke for putting me at ease on my decision that I made on my eyes from the information that was given to me!

My experience at this place was, bar none, the best. The personnel were very proficient in
performing their jobs while being cordial with a smile. They were very coordinated and efficient and I did not feel unattended at any time. When the Doctor entered, he went straight to business and when all was said and done I felt fully informed of my diagnosis and one that I could completely understand. Eye look forward to my next checkup at this facility and their team.
P.S. I'm 67 years old and had cataract surgery in both eyes years ago, done by another group.

The wait time has been mentioned by many. 2 to 3 hours for 5 minutes with a doctor is unacceptable. The testing mentioned also takes less than 5 or 10 minutes, so the net wait time is 3 hours, with 10 or 15 minutes with the staff. I have the utmost respect for the doctors and staff but the process of scheduling is simply not customer friendly. Yesterday is an example. I had an appointment with a doctor set up for February but made in November as a surgery follow-up. I had a call asking to move from AM to PM and I accepted. Five minutes later, I received a call to cancel that appointment and reschedule. Unfortunately, I will be out of town on the proposed date so they offered a date 4 months after my surgery with no options, no call back and no ability to speak with a manager of some sort to correct the problem. I asked for a call back this morning and so far NONE! Frustrated, disappointed and unhappy, not with the doctors but with the "system"!

I was surprised at how large Barnet Dulaney Perkins Eye Center is. It was very busy and I spent quite a bit of time waiting for them to perform the tests. Once they got started it went rather quickly. However, they did inform me when my appointment was scheduled to plan to be there for 2 - 3 hours, and that's about how long I was there. The retna specialist I saw was was nice and professional, and took time with me to explain the test results and answer any questions I had.

Every appointment is at least a 3 hour "adventure". Waiting, waiting, waiting. Their scheduling system is broken and unfortunately no one is interested in getting patients to see the amazing doctors in a timely manner. Zero respect for patients time.
