I was referred to your clinic in September to evaluate the treatment of my left eye due to cloudiness from cataract removal. I was seen by Dr. Craig Cassidy and scheduled for surgery September 24 by Dr. Cassidy. I will say, I was skeptical of the outcome, but I am so amazed at how much clearer and sharper I can see out of my left eye! Dr. Cassidy did a suburb job, better than the same procedure performed on my right eye by BDP a few years ago, which still doesn't see as sharp as it should. I am forever grateful and thankful, Dr. Cassidy, for your excellent skill in allowing me to see so much better from my eye that is considered blind . If I ever need an ophthalmologist doctor, I would definitely think of you first. I highly recommend anyone needing specialized eye care, they make an appointment with you.

I am the spouse of the name on this review. My Eye specialist gave me the name of Valley Eye Specialists for Cataract surgery on both of my eyes. The first eye went very, very well my vision is now 20 / 15 before I couldn't see to drive. I have now had both eye completed and I couldn't be happier. My vision is wonderful. My experience was wonderful, The staff is excellent. They are so nice and helpful in every way and Dr Moretsky was so calming and just made me feel quite comfortable. I will recommend Valley Eye Specialists to everyone I know that needs their help. Elaine

My experiance with Dr. Cassidy was out standing. All of the staff in the operating area were very good and quite thorough before, during, and after my caterac surgery. It is amazing how much my vision has improved. The doctor told that before one eye was operated on. I was legally blind in that eye. Now I see much better. Both eyes have been corrected. I want to thank Dr. Czssidy and all the nursing staff for the care and treatment I recieved. I recommend Dr. Cassidy for any ones eye surgery and eye care.

Zero complaints, 100% satisfaction! I had lens extraction/implant surgery in my right eye and the results are fantastic. Vision is excellent and the entire process was accomplished efficiently and with a level of discomfort so minimal that it was barely noticeable. Entire staff is friendly and professional. I will ultimately need similar surgery in the other eye and, when that time comes, I will most certainly be trusting Moretsky and Cassidy to perform that procedure also.

I was nervous about cataract surgery in 2013 but didn't have to be ! The staff made me feel so comfortable & Dr. Moretsky was so skilled & professional. ...And lo & behold 3 years later, the other eye needs to be done & I have an appointment ...again... but am not nervous! I have great confidence in Dr. Moretsky & his welcoming staff! :)

I spent a great deal of time evaluating LASIK centers and their associated optical laser surgery machines. I studied peer-reviewed opthamological journals to understand the short/long-term outcomes for near-sightedness and astigmatism and how the different types of lasers fared in providing good results. After much consideration, I decided to entrust my treatment to Dr. Moretsky of Valley Eye Specialists as his long-term record of successful LASIK procedures is nothing short of phenomenal. I was also seen (but not operated on) by Dr. Cassidy who I found to be exceptional in his own regard. The outcome was better than I could have hoped for. These guys are the best and I would recommend them without hesitation.

I had cataract surgery by Cassidy and I feel something in my eye and eye sight is worse. He keeps telling me its dry eye and use drops. They don't make the feeling of something in my eye go away. He doesn't seem to want to discuss it with me. Also spent 1500 dollars out of pocket to take care of the astigmatism which I don't think worked. I don't think he reads these or don't care about when things go wrong. I was told that the lens was not fitted for my eye properly and that is why the feeling something is in my all the time.

I am very disappointed with the results of my cataract implant lens surgery. Prior to having the surgery I explained what I was hoping for and what my work needs required and was told the crystalens was the best option. Which I was a little surprised by but since he was so adamant about it I trusted in his judgement and thought perhaps it was just that much better than the other lens choices that it was an easy recommendation for him to make. After the surgery my vision is just good in intermediate and distance range but inside of the ten foot range to very close is very blurry which was one of the things I was explicit about needing for my work. Now I have been told by the doctor it is an intermediate lens and that "I am like an athlete in training" and the vision restoration chart I was given to train with states it "may" keep improving up to a year. I was never told any of this ahead of time. I do spend a good deal of time everyday working with the chart but it has been 2 months and very little improvement for real world everyday application. I paid extra for the laser used in the surgery as I was told by the doctor it would enable him to do his job better I also paid extra for a device that measures the size of lens needed for me once my cataract lens was removed because I was told it could possibly make the difference of reading a couple of lines on the eye chart. I had previously had a distance lens implant in my OTHER eye for cataract (with another doctor) and that distance only lens out performs the crystalens in all ranges and has done so from day one and at no extra out of pocket expense. On the follow up visits the assistant does the usual tests to determine my vision on the chart and reading sheet but no one has even told me the results so I don't know what my vision is at this point but going off how little I can make out on both the distance, intermediate and near charts it's not good so maybe that's why it's not being discussed with me.
