My wife has been a patient at this office since 2020. Just recently we had a terrible interaction with their billing department. We were informed the day before my wife appointment that he balance was sent to collections and we would have to pay our $250 balance before she was seen. We went to her appointment anyway thinking something must be able to be done. Come the day of the appointment the office staff start off by not having her insurance correct (problem one), then proceed to just had us a card and tell us we need to call billing because nothing can be done in office. I call to speak with Melissa in billing and she was the most unprofessional and condescending excuse for a human I have spoken to in a very long time. Not only did she raise her voice to me, but when I asked if there was a payment plan or what was the minimum amount to get my wife seen today she would just repeat $250 over and over like a child would. Bottom line is clearly this office has become profit over patient, if they are willing to delay patient care over a couple hundred dollars (that they most definitely would have gotten had they spoken with kindness) NO ONE should be going here! Patients beware of poor billing practices! Dr. Kao has been good to my wife but his staff promotes a bad image for his practice.

Dr. McKee and his team are fabulous. Dr. McKee went over my options carefully with me so I knew I was making the best decision. My vision after cataract surgery is stupendous!

Very friendly staff we were greeted by Tracy. She even got up from her chair to help a lady in a wheel chair open the door. I like this location better for my dad less people in and out quickly as can be and no chaos and long lines.

I was given a referral by my primary care to see a doctor at this location. I'm deaf, I can't make phone calls so opted to walk into the office to make an appointment. There was a gal at the desk probably 6 feet away sitting. I probably was loud being I have zero volume control from being deaf, I explained I'm deaf and need to make an appointment. The woman had zero interest in making any attempt for me to understand her, she wouldn't even stand up from her chair and walk to me to read what papers I had. I know the doctors here are top notch , I assume having someone like this as their scheduler or first person they deal with is killing their office reputation. I simply told her I'm leaving. She didn't care if they lost a patient or not. I can assure them being deaf I was not cared for ethically and won't leave this alone. God bless and this type of person is why we are failing as a community.

My 94 year old mother was referred here in March. We made an appointment for April; they called to change it to end of day in June; they called to make it earlier in the day, which I cannot do because I have a full-time job and have to drive my Mom. They didn't care and were going to push the appointment out to September. My Mom is 94 years old - hopefully she's still with me in September, but it should not take over 7 months to get an appointment. They didn't care at ALL on the phone - I'll find someone else, I would advise others do the same.

I had cataract surgery on both eyes here. The surgical nurses were great. Dr. Kao, while a good surgeon, has the bedside manner of a turnip. Perhaps that's his personality, but when he's performing surgery on someone's eye who has never had eye surgery before, he should have a little more compassion.

My husband was referred here after experiencing pain from an old cornea transplant. Dr. Kao left him in severe and worsening pain for over a year and then tried to suggest the same treatments he'd been doing as if they were new and novel. The one time he did try a new treatment, it failed immediately and no one from their office would return our calls to get some help. They have very limited availability so my husband was taking days off work to be at these appointments and the Dr couldn't even be bothered to read the chart. We went to another specialist who saw him within a week and had surgery scheduled for him within a month. We couldn't even get this office to send over medical records. It wasn't until I called them and made it very clear we weren't paying for the failed medical procedures and the appointment Kao wasn't prepared for that anyone bothered to make contact with us and apologize. If you want a Dr and staff who couldn't care less about your pain and your time and who think that having a few letters behind their name makes their time more valuable than theirs, this is the place for you. If you want treatment and a staff with even a modicum of professionalism, look elsewhere for treatment.

DO NOT GO HERE! The Dr's and the staff are extremely unprofessional and very very rude! 3 hours of testing one day, a week later they sent us to another EVO office for another 3 hours of testing - many were the same test!! They wanted to take my mothers DL away and did not suggest other options. Dr McKee literally yelled at my mother from another room AND in front of us. We couldn't wait to leave their office. We ended up at another ophthalmologist office with a very professional, kind, knowledgeable Dr who removed scar tissue and performed cataract surgery, she now has great eyesight!! DO NOT GO HERE!
