Dr. Hammond is absolutely fantastic! She took great care of me and my husband, she was so kind and patient and was able to take care of all our needs. From the eye exam to recommending the best contacts for me and glasses for my husband, she was such a pleasure. Usually going to the eye doctor is not the funnest thing but Dr. Hammond and the whole team at tozer made it a comfortable and inviting experience. So glad to have them in the valley!

My wife chose Dr. Lee after having experiences with two competitors. She decided to have the LAL for cataract surgery correction. The adjustments were made, but the "lock in" slipped back a bit. The Dr. said there were very few people this happened to, but she would suggest we wait to see if things change. When we returned after some weeks it was determined that her vision was what it was before the surgery. The last visit, which was last week, we were charged for an office visit, which just added insult ($25) to injury ($5000+). Now they think laser surgery on that eye might fix it. We know people who have had unsuccessful laser eye surgery, so no! Signed, More frustrated with less money!

My husband had a first consultation today and had some traffic issues so he was going to be 10-15 minutes late. He called to let them know. They said they have a 15 minute late policy. He was in constant contact with them and they were rude on the phone so he didn't even go in. Unprofessional! Not going back. I would give negative stars if I could!

It was very easy to book an appointment for a routine eye exam and the staff and doctor were all very friendly. And, if you like buying your glasses online like I do, this is a great practice, because they do not have a storefront, so there's not sales pressure after the exam like there can be at retail type locations. I will definitely be getting my exams here from now on.

I saw Dr. Hammond for my annual eye exam for my first visit at Tozer Lee Eye Center. I had a great first time experience; everyone from the front office staff, Carolyn, and Dr. Hammond were warm and welcoming. The facility was clean and easy to locate. Worked easily with my insurance. Dr. Hammond was very knowledgeable, not only able to answer questions I had, but also thoroughly explaining things as she was doing the exam- I look forward to my future visits with her!

So very frustrating! I blocked out the afternoon so I could get an eye exam with dilation and a new prescription but it was all for nothing. When I made my appointment I gave them my new insurance information and they said yes we take your United Heath Care but upon arrival she says after looking at your card I see we don't take your insurance but you could still pay out of pocket. This was surprising since I had given them my insurance info when making the appointment but she said we wound not know unless I looked at your card. I said I could have faxed the image of the card or, sent you a photo of the card or unloaded the card image to your website etc but NO we don't do that. The Doctors time is valuable but my time also has value. Please do better in the future....

I received exceptional care at Tozer Lee Eye Center at the new Mesa location Dr. Lee answered my questions in a professional and polite manner. The new Mesa office is nicely decorated. The staff I interacted with were polite, efficient and professional.

I see myself going here at least once a year
