Dr. "Z" is friendly, professional and so knowledgeable, with an equally wonderful staff. He has effectively cured my severe dry eye problem. I had been a patient at another practice for several years, with no improvement to my severe dry eyes. In my first visit with Dr. Z, he diagnosed me with Neurotrophic Keratitis, a rare eye condition. His office walked me through obtaining financial assistance for the treatment through a foundation and through the two month long treatment process. I still suffer from some dry eye problems, but nothing like what I was plagued with in prior years. I am so grateful for his talent and passion for his area of practice. I cannot recommend him highly enough!

Dr Zagelbaum is a great dry eye specialist. He and his very skilled assistant and staff are highly trained in diagnosing and treating this aggravating condition. Dr "Z" continues to learn all of the newest technologies available to treat this condition. His friendly demeanor is both welcoming and reassuring. Oh my goodness, Dr. Zagelbaum is amazing. Incredible bedside manner. Kind, down to earth, really intelligent so he can explain things incredibly well, and warm and personable. Also obviously a genius :-) I am so excited that he has quickly diagnosed my needs and will be helping me immediately.

Dr. Zagelbaum is the only dry eye specialist that addressed my nerve damage, takes insurance, and handled my medical leave paperwork. No other eye doctors cared enough to do any of this paperwork or fight insurance to get medications like oxervate covered (shout out to his assistant Danae). Before him I went to every eye doctor that advertised dry eye in the state of AZ, a nuero-ophthalmologist, and a corneal specialist. None of them were willing to help me. Some of their advice made me worse. Some of them said there is nothing they could do. Some of them gaslit me and did not believe the severity of my pain. For the sake of your sanity, wallet, and eyes do not waste your time going to any other dry eye specialist in AZ. He is now the only eye doctor I trust and he takes the time to answer my long list of questions every time. If your eyes are bothering you at all you should go see him as soon as possible!

Dr. Zagelbaum and his staff are caring professionals. Dr. Z spends a lot of time with his patients, explaining the causes of dry eye, the indications, and the solutions. The best dry- eye specialist in the Valley!

I have been going here for about 5 years and this is the only Doctor's appointment that I actually enjoy going to :). The atmosphere here is just so warm and friendly and Dr Steinhauser shows she truly cares about your concerns! I feel like I'm surrounded among friends rather than 'just a patient'. My dry eyes have improved immensely since I've been going. I highly recommend it here!!! :-)

My boyfriend accidently got a tiny fragment of metal in his eye. Wear eye protection no matter how fast, simple, or small the job is! We learned the hard way. I called this office since they are close to our house. I asked if they did foreign object removal and for an estimate of cost without insurance. The front desk attendant was extremely helpful and upbeat. They were able to fit us in even though they were closing in an hour! We got there and received the same concerned and great service I had on the phone. After being checked in Dr. Cory J. Lappin was the one who did the extraction. He was very professional, educational, and amazing communicator through the process. Put us at ease about the entire procedure and aftercare. The best doctor we've encountered in general! Very genuine guy! Thank you again, for providing a great service. I personally will be coming back for my annual eye exams after this experience. Very affordable, even without insurance. The whole staff was helpful and kind, even at the end of the work day. You could tell they love what they do, helping others.

I've been coming here for over 6 years. They know their stuff. Angelina at the front desk is so warm and does her job exceptionally well. Dr. Lappin gets my vision perfect every time and fixed my dry eyes. Great place.
