Just had an eye exam at Riviera Opticare in Scottsdale and the whole experience was smooth from start to finish. Setting the appointment was easy, I was in and out without any issues, and everything felt organized and professional. My eye doctor was awesome -- super thorough, easy to talk to, and made the whole exam comfortable. They also helped me pick out a new pair of glasses and made it really simple. Very cost-effective too. I found my new go-to spot. I'll definitely be coming back. Highly recommend.

I've been going to Riviera Opticare for years and nothing beats their service. I tried a different place last year for glasses and ended up returning everything plus never felt my prescription was right. So I came back! And they have a new type of retinal photo system that seems incredibly important to have done for aging eyes, at least!

My visit to Riviera Opticare was better than if I had planned everything myself. When I went to Riviera Opticare recently, Dr. Keding did a very thorough eye exam. Being diabetic, I was relieved to hear that I didn't have any eye diseases, diabetic retinopathy, or that my cataracts had not returned. Dr. Keding and the entire staff at Riviera Opticare were very friendly, knowledgeable and professional. I strongly recommend Riviera Opticare for quality eye care.

About Riviera Opticare

Dr. Susan Reckell is the Founder and President of Riviera Opticare, Inc. She attended University of Michigan for undergraduate studies and Michigan College of Optometry for her Doctorate degree. Her favorite area of Optometry and expertise is in specialty bifocal contact lenses, Keratoconus treatment contact lenses, and Scleral lenses for corneal transplants or cornea disorders. She is a member of the American Optometric Association (AOA) and the Arizona Optometric Association (AZOA). Dr. Reckell and her husband, Tim, have raised 3 terrific kids and now enjoy being grandparents! Her favorite activities are Church-related, Yoga, Hockey and hiking Arizona. Dr. Reckell sees patients at both Mesa and Scottsdale offices.
