Dr. Gahfarri and his staff were excellent!!! I had just had a colonoscopy a week before and had a terrible experience during the anesthesia.!!!! Thrashing during surgery, torn skin holding me down and a terrible reaction to the anesthesia!!! I told Dr. Gahfarri and his Anesthesiologist about it .....and I had absolutely no problem at all, on the same drug.!! They were so caring and thoughtful and really Professional. and concerned. My eyes came out great no bruising , healed within a week. These people are the best. You will have the best experience of your life ...And you will be in the best hands!!! Had a really great experience here today with RLE surgery. Staff was efficient, facility was world class. A shout out to Beverly who was my nurse and was so nice and incredibly efficient and knows her stuff. I'll be back in a few weeks for the other eye!

I am disheartened to read some of these 3 star reviews and ratings! I've been here twice for cateract surgery and I could not be happier with the staff, their efficiency, skill and compassion. I haven't waited a long time for any of the steps required in the process. Don't let you keep from coming here because of a few unhappy people.lashing out.

Came here for strabismus eye surgery. The receptionist at the front desk was very friendly. The waiting area was very relaxing. A few other patients sitting around. 15 minutes after my arrival they called my name for surgery. The nurses were very kind and reassuring. Met Dr Shortridge who was all smiles. The anesthesiologist was just as friendly. Don't remember much after that. Post op they gave me apple juice and had my ride waiting for me. Fantastic experience overall.

They charged me an additional $895 in January for ordering a lens which was supposed to be free. They admit fault but haven't given me my money. Also, I had to call and request receipts for payments. They don't automatically send you a receipt. Go elsewhere!

Over crowded, surly front desk greeting. . No issues, so far, with my Dr or the anesthesiologist, they were running behind, which happens, but it was a long time to be left all alone hooked up to an IV waiting. My interaction with them both was extremely brief. Postop is a rush to get you out the door. Had a follow up routine question the next day, called and was abruptly told call your Dr. This is like a call center... one size fits all. All in all a disappointing experience especially when you're at your most venerable..

Arrived 20 minutes early as instructed to wait in a lobby for over an hour to sign in only after approaching the front desk and asking will we be called any time soon... She responded we do have other patients none of which waited over an hour just to sign in... Be advised after waiting over an hour to sign in you will be waiting at least another hour to be spoken to again. At that time you will get a arm band where upon you return to wait for approximately an hour for them to call your name to go back again. Plan on an all day saga under the explanation we do have other patients. Summarized grossly overbooked That said... once you get to the back the staff are warm...and very caring ... the atmosphere is black and white in comparison. Bottom line.... it is both really terrible and very good. I recommend planning on an entire day event as we have been here for five hours and surgery has not even been started as of yet.

Staff is wonderful! Rachel and Kat are GREAT nurses: they each have a great bedside manner, took such good care of my mom & let me stay with her right up until the time of the procedure! It definitely made me feel like she was in good hands.
