Amazing doctors at UCSF but OMG I just tried to make an appointment for my daughter and it's a YEAR wait! This is our only option too as smaller practices, including our old doctor, are closing because our health system is so messed up and they can't afford to keep their practices open. It's mind blowing that we have to wait a year for her to be seen for her strabismus.

We made an appointment more than 2 months in advance - the wait is still one hour +. No explanations or apologies - people just don't respect your time!

We scheduled our appointment ~4 months in advance. Two weeks before our appointment, we received a phone call canceling our appointment and rebooking for ~3 months after our scheduled appointment. We had booked flights and made plans around our appointment only to be told the doctor had a conference to attend and was not available during our scheduled appointment. Two weeks notice before the appointment. This practice is mismanaged; we will not be seeing a doctor who cares so little about her patients. I wouldn't waste your time with this doctor.
