I would have given 5 stars but in my 58 years. I've never been to an eye doctor and gotten glasses where they did not provide a case and a cloth to clean the glasses. Stated that they "do not have any for my glasses". Also the fitting of the glasses was super disconnected. they hand you the glasses over the counter (no mirror to look in) and expect you to walk away with them. I had to ask about adjusting/fixing them because they were loose. bent, and didn't sit flat on counter so they were crooked on my face. She takes the glasses and walks away...I assume she was going to the door to call me back ..NOPE! I stood there for a few minutes and then sat down. 5-8 minutes later, I'm called back to the counter where she handed them back and she said that she adjusted them and stood there waiting for me to leave. They were a better fit (didn't fall off of my face but we're still loose). I was disgusted so I just chuckled and walked away. It's like they can't be bothered or are too busy to take the time to adjust the glasses to fit the best that they can so people can actually use them comfortably. The actual doctor and dog assistant Jackie were awesome.

He completed his rotations at the Naval Medical Center San Diego, Marine Corps Recruit San Diego, Marine Corps Air Station Miramar, and the Naval Air Station North Island. He is Ortho-K certified and has been practicing Optometry on the Central Coast for over ten years. Dr. Castrejon is a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry. Dr. Castrejon was awarded the 'A Tribute to Caring' award for exemplary community service. In his free time, he enjoys playing hockey, hiking, going to the beach, and, most importantly, spending time with his family.
