I would like to take this opportunity to sincerely thank Dr. Ngai for truly saving my life.
Dr. Ngai has been treating my glaucoma for several years. At every office visit, he would ask, "How's your asthma?" and my answer was always the same: "Uncontrolled." He could hear the wheezing and knew something wasn't right. I had already seen two pulmonologists, but neither seemed to care how miserable I was using steroid inhalers and medications without any improvement.
Dr. Ngai encouraged me to seek another opinion and even guided me on where to start looking. Because of his advice, I found Drs. Cheng and Camarillo, who quickly recognized that I had been misdiagnosed with asthma for the past six years. I was correctly diagnosed with tracheal stenosis and have since undergone three surgeries. My surgeon, Dr. Camarillo, told me that I reached her just in time.
Dr. Ngai, I am incredibly grateful and feel so blessed to have you as my doctor. I know I am in the very best hands.

Dr Ngai and his staff are wonderful. I am 71 years old. He did my cataract surgery on both eyes. I chose to pay extra for the multifocal lens so that I could see my phone. That lens works very well to see close up. I have never seen better without glasses in my life! I don't generally trust doctors, but I trust this one! He took the time to answer all of my questions thoroughly. I am afraid I would not have passed the driver's vision test even with glasses, but now I can see practically 20/20 without glasses. I am very happy with my results!
