Vision Essentials by Kaiser Permanente, Bellflower

Staff were all really nice, and they did their best to help me! This review is not for them, but to inform you of what they told me. Cos of how Kaiser works, they're not able to tell you exactly how much you'll be billed. Even though I have Kaiser coverage, they said that because vision is not included in my coverage, I could be billed up to $500. Which I understand. However, they said that the optometrists will run tests, and I'll only get the bill later, but they have no way of telling me how much different tests will cost. So just a heads up for everyone who doesn't have vision included - you might be billed arbitrarily up to $500, without anyone informing you when they run the tests that it'll cost this much. It's not their fault - they don't even have access to the information! You have to call in to Kaiser to ask. But member services doesn't have the info, you have to get connected to premium billing, so plan for an hour on the phone to get the info. Kinda funny to me the scam of it all lol. The analogy is like you walked into McDonalds, and there's no prices displayed. You ask for prices, and they say they you have to call in, and depending on your membership tier, prices will vary. But you won't know for sure until a month later when you get the bill in the mail. I'm personally going to another optometrist outside of Kaiser. The $200 bill I know of is still better than participating in this scam that could cost me up to $500 . It's a matter of principle at this point.

Make sure you eat because you will wait 1-2 hr . This location needs coordination some staff in the front are just not helping out on their phones Managment need to geta grip i will never come back to this location

Don't let them fool you. 1 year warranty only lasts 90 days yeah I got glasses 5 months ago with a 1year warranty. The frames are peeling they are only giving me 1/2 off

This place is AMAZING. I went there this past Tuesday for an appointment with Dr. Euri Chi. I went there for an eye exam for a new prescription. While in my appointment, she was very thorough and explained in detail about the current state of my vision. And when I got to actually picking out the glasses, the lady who helped me was super nice and gave me a great deal for what my insurance covered. From now on, this will be the ONLY place I get my eye care from. I received my new eyeglasses so fast too.
