We had a wonderful experience with Dr Hunt who did an exam on my 4 year old who has Down syndrome. Creative, efficient and so patient! The office staff is very kind and helpful too.

While only my second visit, I again found the staff to be very welcoming and helpful. I appreciate Dr. Hun's thorough exam of my eyes and confirmation that my cataract surgeries were successful. I look forward to working with them as I decide on my glasses.

Both Tammy Hunt and Mark Shaw are delightful, highly competent optometrists. I was also impressed with the professionalism of the Covid-19 precautions, and felt safe in the office. I've been a patient there since 1999 and have always received excellent care.

Dr. Hunt is perhaps the best optometrist I've ever been to in my 37 years of wearing glasses. She discussed with me the options of how to set up the prescription for balancing near and far vision, and I got to have some input in it so I would get what I wanted, addressing the pros and cons. I have never had a better prescription. I can see really well, and my eyes don't feel tired. Also, she explained some things to me such that I could understand them with my education in physics. That helped me to understand the reasons for certain things and get a more complete understanding of my vision and my visual anatomy. Dr. Hunt is truly an expert and a very kind person.

An amazing doctor! Dr. Hunt has provided excellent eye care for my family for the last 10 years. Thorough eye exams with explanations that are easy to understand. Her patients eye care is her top priority.

Always a great experience at Drs. Hunt and Shaw. I visited yesterday and did my first, in office, Healthcare appointment in this post-COVID world. They have developed smart and safe practices! You call from your car when you arrive, they do a health screening over the phone, them someone comes out to take your temp. I was escorted in the back door and directly to an exam room. After the exam, I was escorted to the front to select new glasses (can't wait to get them!). Any fram you touch is sanitized under UV lights and they have two trays at the ready, one for frames you want to select and a "discard" tray. Once you select and pay at the front desk, you exit out the front door. I was the only patient there at the time and it all felt safe and orderly. All staff wore masks and, whenever possible, all maintained social distancing. (Obviously Dr. Hunt was closer than 6 feet during the exam...) It was good to see their smiling faces, at least what was visible above the masks, and good to see how they have adjusted their practice following the pandemic!

I visited their offices based on a recommendation to get my glasses repaired before a business trip the next day. A screw had broken and a lens had fallen out. A challenging repair but one I had had completed elsewhere several times. They were unable to make the repair and recommended a cheap, temporary frame as a stop gap until I came in for a full appointment, which I acknowledged needed to get done soon. In the process of moving the lens to the new frame they ruined one of the lenses (lens is now completely foggy) and based on the frame shape made the other basically not work either (based on the warp). They apologized, gave me the unusuable replacement glasses for free and said have a nice day. I understand mistakes happen, sometimes, but their response was incredibly unprofessional and left me without usuable glasses right before my trip. No offer was made to fix what they ruined. I won't be going back.
