My wife did some research and had our two sons go to Burbank Optometric Center. I took my youngest to the appointment, and right away, I liked how they treated my seven-year-old. They made him feel comfortable and made me feel comfortable, too. I'm going to use the term 'mom-and-pop shop,' but it's more of a family atmosphere, and they make you feel welcome. I told my wife to make me an appointment, and when I went, I found the care to be above standard. The Doctor asked quick questions that were relevant to everyday use for your eyewear. For instance, I don't wear my glasses when I drive because I can't--or I should say, I do not want to turn my head to look at something immediately. The doctor said she could probably fix that, and not only did I get that fixed, but she also let me know that she tests everything out to ensure she likes it before recommending it to her patients, which is what I wanted to hear. So if you're looking for a family-oriented, mom-and-pop shop with excellent service, come here--you're going to get it. And yes, nobody is perfect, so there's always going to be something no matter what you do in life. That's just life. I'd rather it be with a kind, caring family business that always takes care of you. I'm a new patient, and I really like this place. You will get excellent care for the health of your eyes and excellent recommendations on how to take care of your eyes. As one of the Technicians said, The eyes are the windows to the soul.

Wonderful care. Went to Warby Parker first and they couldn't help my son, who has slight Myopia. WP said he'd need to be dilated for 24 hours and have more testing but Dr Nishida helped him on the spot! We will be ordering his glasses tomorrow and will definitely be back!

This was a really nice visit for my 18 mo daughter's first eye appointment. Both doctors and the staff were very helpful, friendly, enthusiastic about and experienced with little kids. I couldn't ask for more. This is the kind of friendly-but-not-scammy small town family practice I thought didn't exist. And it's right next to the train store if your kid needs a break. Had my annual eye check with Burbank Optometric Center with Dr. Nishida and her staff and was very pleased with their attention to my vision care. I think what is important to know is a good eye doctor may treat your eyes but a great eye doctor treats the "patient needing eye care" and Dr. Nishida and her staff meet that criteria. She takes the time to understand her patients and is an attentive listener and along with her knowledge can explain ways for you to maintain good eye care going forward. BOC has an exceptional staff ensuring scheduled appointment reminders and great customer service from your frame selections, to proper eye alignment and clarity. Always a great visit to Burbank Optometric Center. A smart and efficient staff, and a great place to get your eyes checked. My visits with Dr Nishida are always enjoyable. I have been going there for literally decades. Every optometrist I have worked with there has been aces. And have gotten terrific glasses there over the years. Highly recommended!!

I recently visited Burbank Optometric Center with my autistic son, and I cannot express enough how grateful I am for their exceptional service. From the moment we walked in, the staff was welcoming, patient, and incredibly understanding of my son's needs. The optometrist was very professional and took extra time to make sure my son felt comfortable throughout the examination.The clinic was well-organized, and the staff was knowledgeable, friendly, and attentive. They went above and beyond to ensure that my son had a positive experience, which is something we've struggled to find elsewhere.I highly recommend this clinic for anyone, especially families with special needs. We had a great first visit with Doctor Nishida today. I am confident thar my daughter will get great care for her eyes from Dr. Nishida. She was so warm and friendly and so patient with my daughter. Her entire staff was great as well. We both left the office feeling happy!

I love Dr Nishida. She genuinely cares and that means so much to me. On top of getting excellent care for my eyes, she always is happy to see me and catch up on my life and cheer me on with whatever is going on. In a world of so much division, it feels good to be at a place that provides such wonderful human connection. 5 stars!
