Dr. Eghbali truly saved me! I went to urgent care twice and even the ER for a cornea injury, but nothing helped. My eye was swollen, red, painful, and had a lot of discharge. Thankfully, I was fit in for a same-day appointment with Dr. Eghali, and within 24 hours of his treatment, the redness, pain, and discharge were completely gone. He explained everything clearly and gave me the right drops and ointment that finally worked. The staff was also wonderful and caring. I'm so grateful -- after seeing three other doctors, he's the only one who got it right!

Drs. Eghbali are excellent at what they do, and Linda and their staff at East Valley Eye Center are friendly and efficient. I had two cataract surgeries in a row - one for each eye, a month apart, and I couldn't be happier--no complications, no pain, just brand new, brighter, more colorful distance vision requiring no distance glasses for the first time in 28 years.

Dr. Farid Eghbali is a very good eye doctor. I've been going to him for many years and I've recommended him to some people who have nothing but praise for his professionalism and expertise.
I'd easily give him 5 stars but his front office staff is not pleasant. I find them to be unfriendly (year after year, on the phone and in person); once in a while a pleasant polite person seems to be around, but that's just temporary. Today I had to deal with unsmiling, unfriendly Michelle who just made me feel so uncomfortable. I hope I don't have to deal with her again.

I greatly appreciate the care that I have received at East Valley Eye over the past 30 years. The doctors are meticulous, knowledgeable, and patiently explain everything. My cataract surgery was tricky due to prior laser surgeries to correct myopia. .Dr Farid Eghbali explained the risks and recommended the best lens given my particular history. His brother performed the surgery. Both doctors are highly skilled. Six months post surgery, I couldn't be more pleased with the results.. I recommend East Valley Eye for vision care and treatment .

I have been going to East Valley Eye Center for about two years. I had a minor procedure in the office, easy peasy. Then it was determined that I had cataracts in both eyes. I also had another problem and was sent to a specialist to see if it would make removing the cataracts a problem. it wasn't. Fast forward to February 2025 and my first cataract surgery. Wow. An experience, but a good one. Dr. Egbali explained the procedure to me and it was just as he described. Very easy, no pain at all. After care was great, both Drs. Egbali saw me and the folks in his office were great. Kudos to Linda for keeping on top of things with insurance and payment for the laser treatment. Then in March 2025 I had the second eye done. Once again, easy peasy, after care wonderful. I also found out I can go to them for glasses, which I really don't need any more, but will get prescription sunglasses which will help me to see signs far away. Wonderful staff, wonderful doctors. Love the fist bump. I would highly recommend both doctors for your eye care.

I have Rosacea that makes my eyes very dry, sensitive to light, aching and tearing. Nothing really has been helping besides hot compresses. But heat causes my face to break out.
The laser treatment Dr. Eghbali has been using on my face and around eyes is clearly decreasing these symptoms. The very thorough application of the laser Dr. Eghbali uses makes a big difference. I had IPL done at different places but nothing measures up. Dr. Eghbali makes the whole process easy and comfortable. Dr. Eghbali is a doctor that truly cares about his patients. Our practice began in 1944 when Walter Weil, MD opened what is believed to be the first ophthalmology practice in the San Fernando Valley, on Riverside Drive in Toluca Lake. He saw many of the movie stars and other prominent patients during his 31 years in practice there. A flag pole that Dr. Weil donated and that was dedicated by his patient Bob Hope, still stands near his old office in Toluca Lake. Dr. Lawrenece Green took over the practice in 1975 and the practice remained in Toluca Lake for more than a decade before East Valley Eye Center was relocated to a new, larger office where we are today. Dr Lawrence Green is no longer with East Valley Eye Center. We continue great service and been voted Best of Burbank Ophthalmology 11 years!
