East Valley Eye Center: Kourosh Eghbali, MD

I just finished cataract surgery with Dr. Eghbali. I am thrilled with the results. I was nervous about an eye operation in general, but Dr. Eghbali took the time to explain to me everything I wanted to know and he and his staff made my experience not scary at all. The results are pretty miraculous. It was very much worth the initial nervousness on my part.

My husband is so happy Dr Eghbali preformed his cataract surgery. He has 20/20 vision on both eyes now! He is a genius and a very pleasant doctor, always interested in the welfare of his patients.

I have been taking my parents to East Valley Eye Center for years now. Recently my mom did cataract surgery with Dr. Kourosh Eghbali and we couldn't be happier. The doctor and the staff were very helpful and knowledgeable when discussing the options. My mom decided to go with Laser surgery to reduce risk but she was also given the option of doing it the traditional way which is covered fully by the insurance. The surgery staff provided step-by-step instructions before the surgery and we knew exactly how to prepare, what to do, and what not to do. They called two days before the surgery as well to remind us of the surgery and the procedures my mom had to follow prior to the surgery. On the day of the surgery, everything went smoothly as expected. The surgery room staff were very friendly. Dr. Eghbali stopped by to talk to us and explain the steps of the procedure before they took my mom in. Both her eyes have been operated on now and it is about 2 months after the second eye and she is so happy with her vision. She can see clearly and she hasn't had any implications. Thank you Dr. Eghbali for a great experience. Would highly recommend him to anyone considering cataract surgery.

I had cataract surgery on both of my eyes recently by Dr. Kourosh Eghbali, MD. This man is a WONDERFUL human being who really cares about you! From the very beginning, Dr. Eghbali was straightforward about everything regarding my cataracts. He encouraged, yet never pressured me to have them removed. I have to admit that I was initially scared to have eye surgery due to the fear of possible complications, etc. BUT, in my opinion, this surgery is one of the safest surgeries there is!! The entire staff at the Freedom Vision Surgery Center in Encino, California, delivered their care and love in a professional, yet extraordinary manner! I wish I had a 3rd eye so I could look forward to returning back there to be cared for by Dr. Kourosh Eghbali and his wonderful staff!

This individual named Kouros who considers himself a physician is scamming patients. He does not evaluate patients directly instead he evaluates multiple patients at the same time and then bills the insurance carrier. Elvira called me today from billing office after 2 years asking for payment, and in return I asked for evidence/video to produce to demonstrate that professional services were rendered, Elvira had no evidence to justify that I was evaluated by him in a professional manner. This particular office is engaged in insurance fraud and patient abuse. Rumor has it that other patients have taken notice of this person's unethical behavior. Again if no professional service was rendered then Kouros you have no right to collect funds because there was no benefit to the person who you pretended to be your patient.

I don't have enough words to say how much I appreciate Dr. Kourosh Eghbali. I took in my mother to his office at the end of last year. She had lost her eyesight due to her cataracts. My mom was only able to see shadows. Until her primary dr. referred us to Dr. Eghbali. He did such an amazing job on her. Took his time in running test, did everything possible for my mom which she is 65years old to feel comfortable. Now her eyesight is 100% better. Even better than mine. Thank you Dr. for helping my mom get her eyesight back.

I can't say enough good things about Dr. Eghbali and his staff. Dr. Eghbali is amazing, professional, patient, extremely thorough, answers all your questions and explains everything. All the equipment is state of the art and the office is very clean. My whole family comes to Dr. Eghbali and we are all very happy. I continue to be impressed, and recommend this place to everyone.
