First of all, when i called the office, a real person answered the phone. Not an AI automated voice directory. Then I asked if they accepted my vision insurance and the person on the phone replied they did. I asked how long were they booked out for an eye exam. She told me they could schedule me in just a few days. Day of appointment, I went in and the office is huge. No crowded areas and lots of selection of frames. Dr Ng gave me an exam and he was very nice. He took the time to explain the test results and recommended to me what would work best and helped me get the right contact lenses as well. Then, Tonya helped me pick my glasses and helped me with the options for my lenses. Then she clearly explained the costs and breakdown of the charges. The entire staff was pleasant and nice. I am referring my wife to book her next eye appt here. I highly recommend going to Elkhorn Family Optometry if you want to feel appreciated as a patient and if you want to be well taken care of. I have been going to this optometrist for the last 20+ years. I have a very rare eye condition that not many doctors are educated in requiring me to constantly being referred to specific eye specialists. I'm so grateful to have found this office, that are familiar with my complex case, accommodate me and my special circumstances on a yearly basis and during emergencies. I have nothing but positive feedback from all my experiences. This duo optometrists team and their staff provide great customer service and care about their patients. I've been going to Elkhorn Family Optometry for over 25 years. I moved to Elk Grove 14 years ago and I still continue to go to the same Optometrist. Both Doctors are extremely knowledgeable, the staff is very friendly and I always have a great experience. I get my contacts and glasses there.

This was my first time being seen for vision in about 10 years. The office staff are friendly and knowledgeable. The office is clean and they have safe practices in place. They clean the equipment in front of you, offer a basket to put glasses in that you touch so they can clean before putting back on display, and they explain your insurance info in enough detail to make an informed decision. 100% recommend to anyone who is in need of optometry care.

The staff is friendly and helpful. My visit to this optometrist for an annual check-up went smoothly and they even took time to explain everything very well. It was quick and since I was not getting new glasses (yay! I did not need a new prescription), the cost was very minimal. I highly recommend these folks.
