Bay Bridge Optometry

I have been a loyal patient at Bay Bridge Optometry for several years, and I'm disappointed to say that the quality of service has significantly declined over the past two years. Initially, I was very satisfied with the practice. The staff was professional, knowledgeable, and provided excellent customer service alongside quality care from the doctors. Unfortunately, recent experiences have been consistently problematic. We have encountered multiple prescription errors and service issues that required follow-up visits. While mistakes can happen, the concerning issue has been the decline in customer service quality and staff competency. The front desk staff turnover appears high, and newer personnel seem less experienced in handling both routine procedures and problem resolution. When issues arise, the response has been lacking the expertise we previously experienced. I want to acknowledge that the doctors themselves continue to provide excellent, caring service. However, the operational issues and poor customer service have made it difficult to continue as patients. Despite our long history with the practice, we have decided to seek eye care elsewhere. I hope this feedback helps the practice address these service quality concerns for future patients.

Really great service. Dr Liu is very kind, prompt, and polite. There is parking just past the office in the complex garage. No need for street parking.

Avoid This Place! Unprofessional and Dishonest I had an awful experience with Bay Area Optometry. They damaged my glasses during and then tried to deny responsibility. At first, they claimed they couldn't have caused the damage because they "went to lunch" and the glasses were supposedly already damaged when I came back. However, when I asked for a smaller screw, they admitted they had trimmed it -- which clearly explains how the damage occurred. After examining the glasses, they realized it was their fault but kept delaying any resolution. To make matters worse, the doctor called me two weeks after and said they wouldn't cover the damages because I left an honest review on Yelp! Their behavior was incredibly unprofessional, and their refusal to take accountability is unacceptable. If you care about your glasses and good customer service, I highly recommend going elsewhere.

Dr. Liu is professional and attentive. I was in and out in 20 minutes. No time wasted, stellar communication, professionalism all around. I feel very fortunate to have Bay Bridge Optometry in the neighborhood. Saved my spring break and who knows what else. Thank you one more time.

Kind and knowledgeable staff! The space is clean and conveniently located. They have frames for any style and their prices are reasonable. Went in to get contacts, it was quick and easy. Treat helped me find my insurance and coverage details in seconds. Will be back to get frames!
