Dr Hartzell and the entire staff were very helpful in explaining everything. Above and beyond in kindness. I have a hard time not moving my eye (nystagmus) they were patient and we got some important testing completed. I will recommend to family and friends. I had a pre-surgery examination before my LASIK procedure. Overall, I was very satisfied -- the doctor explained everything clearly, was attentive and gentle, and I felt genuine care and professionalism throughout the process.
The only thing I would suggest improving is the cleanliness of the diagnostic equipment. When I was tested on different machines, I noticed that the parts where the face rests (especially the chin support) were not cleaned in front of me, and on one of them it looked a bit dirty. I asked the staff to wipe it, and they did, but it would be great if this was done before each patient automatically. It's important for both hygiene and patient confidence.
Other than that, everything was excellent -- thank you for your professionalism and care!

I'm very pleased at the time it took to get me scheduled for my eye surgery. However, my 1st appointment for my consultation, i was late 2 minutes past there cut off time, due to unforseen auto accident on my way there that held up traffic. When i got there i explained what happen. I was still forced to reschedule. I was 10 minutes early to the 2nd appointment, in which i was not seen until 20 minutes after my schedule appointment time. So I ended up missing my next doctor's appointment at a different office. Very upsetting to wait that long and missing my next appointment, after everything I went through the 1st time.
